It doesn’t matter if this Thanksgiving is your first time hosting a holiday meal, or you have hosted twenty in the past – they’re always stressful. You may not be the best cook, don’t want to take the time to do all of the cooking, or just want something different. This year HoneyBaked Ham has some pretty awesome solutions to any holiday meal problem, and asked us to try them out and share our experience with the readers.
In order to try their new deals and offerings, HoneyBaked Ham sent us a gift card to pick up everything we will need for our holiday meal. I went by the Roseville location earlier today and was in and out of the store in no time! While a lot of people are ordering their stuff now and will be picking it up right before Thanksgiving, you can actually pick it up today and put it in the freezer for the holidays. Just remember to allow to thaw in your refrigerator for a few days before the big meal. But it’s a great way to get your food early and beat the holiday rush.
I know a lot of people think HoneyBaked Ham has well, just ham. And yes, that’s where they started – but their menu offers turkey, ham, sandwiches, sides, gift ideas and even snacks. You can actually head in for a sandwich on your lunch break, or grab a Sanders Bumpy cake for the next party you’re attending (yum!)
HoneyBaked Ham is ready for pretty much every occasion and event you may have. And while you may not think that of ham for your Thanksgiving meal, your family might be like mine. Some of us sit on Team Turkey, while the others vote for Team Ham. So if you’re not sure what everyone wants their currently deal is a great option for you! They have a bundle deal where you can get both a turkey and ham for your holiday meal. There’s a great coupon you can use (below) to save $8 on the deal. Both are pre-cooked and ready for your party. They don’t suggest you cook them or they will dry out some, but I find warming them slighting is preferred in our house.
To top off your meal, you can grab some of their Heat & Share Sides. They are frozen, and just require you to cook them at 375 degrees. Cooking times may vary, but you just have to heat them up, stir and return to the oven. I don’t know how making sides could get any easier! Every side has the major allergens listed on the back, so you can be sure you or your guests can enjoy them without the threat of getting sick!
Our family is small, but we loved having the option of ham or turkey with our meals and just a couple of the Heat & Serve Sides provided more than enough food for our holiday meal! The best part – it was done in under an hour, and we had several options. Quick and easy meals, affordable prices and a ton of options – I’d say that’s a great way to do the holidays!
