We were sent a pair of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume-Limiting Headphones to try out and review. The headphones have a built in level that they wont let the music or show go above, protecting tender young ears. I know when I was a kid, I loved cranking up the music as loud as possible.
child’s ears and will reduce the damage from loud sounds (unline ear buds). Overall they are substantially made, and will sit easily on a child’s head while they’re enjoying their favorite music or movie for the 500th time. The only downside I can see with the headphones is they are actually corded. For older kids this isn’t a problem, but for younger ones who may move around a lot and not pay attention this could be an issue. The packaging puts the TMNT headphones for ages 3-9, and I think that’s just about perfect. The headphones are actually big enough for me to wear, so they might even be good for teenagers or young adults who still love the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
limiter? It’s a neat bit of technology built in without any additional buttons needing to be pushed. It actually reduces the highest volume output by 80%. Without the availability of a button for small hands to change on their own, you can be assured your child wont crank up the sound too loud after you walk away.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle headphones have a standard cord with a 3.5 mm stereo jack, which makes them compatible with stereos, iDevices, android, laptops, PCs and even DVD players! You can find them at select retailers and on Amazon.
