Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Volume-Limiting Headphones – Let them Listen in Style #Christmascountdown

Ninja Turtle Head Phones Review
I absolutely love that some of the toys and characters I grew up with are just as popular now as they were when I was a kid. Goonie absolutely loves the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and probably more than we did as kids. With the relaunch of the characters by Nickelodeon, comes great new toys and products with the whole the whole team included.

We were sent a pair of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Volume-Limiting Headphones to try out and review. The headphones have a built in level that they wont let the music or show go above, protecting tender young ears. I know when I was a kid, I loved cranking up the music as loud as possible.

Besides the extremely cool character design, the Volume-Limiting headphones have some other pretty neat features. The headphones actually are created like “DJ style” headphones with an adjustable band and large padded ear pieces. This also helps keep the sound and music separated some from your
child’s ears and will reduce the damage from loud sounds (unline ear buds). Overall they are substantially made, and will sit easily on a child’s head while they’re enjoying their favorite music or movie for the 500th time. The only downside I can see with the headphones is they are actually corded. For older kids this isn’t a problem, but for younger ones who may move around a lot and not pay attention this could be an issue. The packaging puts the TMNT headphones for ages 3-9, and I think that’s just about perfect. The headphones are actually big enough for me to wear, so they might even be good for teenagers or young adults who still love the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

These headphones aren’t just cool because they have the favorite characters on them (you can actually find them available in Barbie, Hello Kitty, Batman, Hello Kitty, My Little Pony and Spider man as well!). I would say my favorite feature is the volume limiter. What is a volume
limiter? It’s a neat bit of technology built in without any additional buttons needing to be pushed. It actually reduces the highest volume output by 80%. Without the availability of a button for small hands to change on their own, you can be assured your child wont crank up the sound too loud after you walk away.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle headphones have a standard cord with a 3.5 mm stereo jack, which makes them compatible with stereos, iDevices, android, laptops, PCs and even DVD players! You can find them at select retailers and on Amazon.
