the Upside movie review

I was lucky enough to see The Upside last week with Kevin Hart and Bryan Cranston and all I can say is this is a must see movie! The pair plays off each other flawlessly and while there are some dramatic deep moments, the fun and adventure are the highlights of the movie.

In a world where he can only move his head, Phillip hires a random ex-con, Dell pretty much right off the street and while they don’t hit it off right away, a true and meaningful friendship develops pretty quickly. Their friendship is the inspiring and deep and forever. No matter the hardships that prevail based on past decisions, Phillip and Dell can see the better in each other.

Nicole Kidman plays her role perfectly and the movie would not be the same without her. I loved the entire movie and can not wait to take the rest of my family. It’s heartfelt, teaches friendship and to look past outer appearances as well as love. But don’t take my word for it and head out to see it today!
