Reading has always been big in our family, so we were instantly fans of WordWorld when PBS sent us our first collection of their shows. And with Valentine’s day right around the corner, they sent us their latest collection to check out – WordWorld: Be My Valentine.
What if your world was built out of words? And everything was shaped like the word that builds it up! That is exactly what WordWorld is like, and it helps kids learn word recognition with shapes and things they already know. The new collection takes some of our favorite characters Frog, Fly, Bear, Sheep, and Bug on new adventures. Your little ones can learn about rhyming, repetition and more. Frog also helps Bug learn how to write his name so he can fill out a Valentine for his favorite WordFriend. The episodes not only focus on the holiday based on love, but also the words associated with it.
