We love ren fest! My kids loved talking with the mermaid, and I love enjoying a scotch egg!
I enjoy the jousting
My favorite was a few years ago when we did our vow renewals near the water fountain at the Michigan Renaissance Festival. Hope we can go back again this year.
I love the authenticity of their costumes and the characters they portray. It’s a family event. So much to see and enjoy.
The performances! They were really fun to watch.
My favorite show has always been the Washing Women. I’d love to take my family to experience the great shows.
Loved the costumes!
My favorite was when we went to the pig & swig. It was a tasting event with drinks and bacon.
Always an adventure. The items available are always so amazing. The costumes are fabulous. I would love to take my miracle 6 year old. I think she would absolutely love it.
Grandson was called to come to the court and the queen knighted him
What a wonderful time for a young child
Wonderful memories for our family
Have been wanting to take the kids as they’ve never been. Ded Bob was one of my favorites.
My daughter was excited to go, her boyfriend invited her. She bought an outfit and everything. Then he broke up with her. I would love to win tickets to take her!! It will be our first time going. I want to experience everything. So I couldn’t say just one thing I’m excited for.
I’ve never been to the Renaissance Festival. I’d love to go to see how the cosplay is for this time period. I’ve heard the performers do a great job of reenactments as well.
those great tasting turkey legs, the belt buckles makings, the joustings
A memory I have is when my kids went to their first festival and were surprised that turkeys have legs that big.
I remember going to Renaissance festival as a child and I’m 51 yrs old. I’ll never forget the jousting tournament and seeing knights in chain mail costumes! Favorite childhood memory!
My hubby proposed to me at the Ren Fest in 2011! We love it there!
I want to get a picture of my kids eating a giant turkey leg! It will be their first Ren Fair!
Have always wanted to go but haven’t had the chance yet. My daughter would flip and flop for the mermaid cove! I would to see the time period clothing . The jousting sounds fun and who doesn’t want a turkey leg?!
i would like to make some memories of the renaissance festival
Jousting and turkey legs and mead oh my!!!!
I go every year. Making costumes for everyone this year. I always love the customs and shows. Bastard monks was my favorite besides washing wenches
Our first trip to The Michigan renaissance Festival was 29 years ago! Our oldest was about 6 months old and we were pregnant with our second child. Can’t wait to go again!
