About the 2024 Michigan Renaissance Festival:
Join the villagers of Hollygrove as they invite one and all to the magical 16th Century European village featuring 17 stages of exciting entertainment including: musicians, magicians, jugglers, and jousting. Over 100 artisans will fill the Festival marketplace to display and sell their handcrafted goods for a truly fabulous and endless shopping experience. Patrons will interact with memorable characters and enjoy full-contact live armored jousting, 7 theme weekends, and fabulous food fit for royalty!
The Michigan Renaissance Festival is thrilled to announce its 45th Anniversary season, promising an unforgettable experience for visitors from August 17th through September 29th. This year’s festival, a beloved tradition in the heart of Michigan, will feature an array of new and exciting attractions, alongside the cherished activities that have delighted guests for over four decades.
New Highlights for 2024:
- House of Dragons: Step into a fantastical world with our brand-new House of Dragons pub. Explore an immersive dragon-themed adventure that will enchant guests of 21 years of age and older. • Freeze Dried Candy: Discover a unique culinary treat with our new freeze-dried candy offerings. These whimsical sweets add a new twist to your festival experience.
- Barbi Mermaid: Meet the magical Barbi Mermaid, who will enchant festival-goers with her mesmerizing tales and aquatic allure.
- VIP Pampering: For our Season and Royal Pass holders, we are introducing exclusive VIP Pampering experiences. Enjoy enhanced comfort in upscale restrooms and special perks like cool drinks in a designated shaded area to elevate your festival experience to royal heights.
- Crow’s Nest and Barrell Ride: Get ready for two thrilling new games! Test your skills and enjoy the excitement of the Crow’s Nest and the Barrell Ride, new additions that promise fun and adventure for the whole family.
In addition to these fantastic new features, the festival will be open on special days including Labor Day, September 2nd, and Festival Friday, September 27th, to ensure that even more guests can partake in the celebration.

I loved going with my girlfriends. We had so many laughs that weekend!!!! The Washing Well Wenches left us in stitches!! If I win I would be taking my husband, my twin sister and a friend!
I would do this as a girl’s retreat with my twin sister and our 3 other best girl friends!! We all have been at least 1 time before, and we would have the best time geeking out together!
I have not been there in years, but when we did go it was a lot of fun. We would meet up as a big group and spend the whole day. There would be several couples in our party, making for lots of laughs. ????

Favorite memory is all of my brothers friends coming with my family after my brothers passed away. A little bit of joy in such a dark time for us. This year I will be bringing my three children who are all my joy now.
