About Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales:

pirates dead men tell no tales dvd release dateJohnny Depp returns to the big screen as the iconic, swashbuckling anti-hero Jack Sparrow in the all-new “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.” The rip-roaring adventure finds down-on-his-luck Captain Jack feeling the winds of ill-fortune blowing strongly his way when deadly ghost sailors, led by the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle bent on killing every pirate at sea—notably Jack. Jack’s only hope of survival lies in the legendary Trident of Poseidon, but to find it he must forge an uneasy alliance with Carina Smyth (Kaya Scodelario), a brilliant and beautiful astronomer, and Henry (Brenton Thwaites), a headstrong young sailor in the Royal Navy. At the helm of the Dying Gull, his pitifully small and shabby ship, Captain Jack seeks not only to reverse his recent spate of ill fortune, but to save his very life from the most formidable and malicious foe he has ever faced.

“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” also stars Kevin R. McNally as Joshamee Gibbs, Golshifteh Farahani as the sea-witch Shansa, David Wenham as Scarfield, Stephen Graham as Scrum, and Geoffrey Rush as Captain Hector Barbossa.

Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg are directing “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” with Jerry Bruckheimer producing. The executive producers are Mike Stenson, Chad Oman, Joe Caracciolo, Jr., Terry Rossio and Brigham Taylor. The story is by Jeff Nathanson and Terry Rossio, and Jeff Nathanson wrote the screenplay. “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” drops anchor in U.S. theaters on May 26, 2017.

  1. I’ll never forget we were sitting in the theater waiting for the movie to start when I got the call I go through the interview process for my current job. That was 10 years ago!!

  2. My favorite Pirate of the Carribean moment was when they worked in the dog from the ride in the first film. Thanks for the giveaway. I hope that I win.

  3. My favorite pirates moment is from the first movie where Jack sparrow and Elizabeth swan are on the island. She made a huge smoke signal with the barrels of rum. “My father’s out looking for me right now. That signal is ten miles high.” …….. “But why is the rum gone.”

  4. I enjoy watching the Pirate of the Caribbean movies with the action. I also like the cast that they have. Jack Sparrow is my favorite. My favorite pirate moment was watching the first Pirate of the Caribbean movie with Jack Sparrow for the first time.

  5. When we went to see the second movie they let us in early for some reason and the other previous showings credits were still rolling and we got to see the end clip before we watched the movie.
