Valentine’s day is right around the corner, probably faster than we all would like to admit. And with is comes the traditional gifts of chocolate, jewelry and of course flowers. I love them all, as much as any girl but sometimes I want something that is different, that can be reused and of course will fit within our budget. This year The Popcorn Factory sent me one of their Heart Deco Valentine’s Tins to review, and it fits everything I would love in a gift.
Yes, candy is the traditional gift idea and it is one of my favorites but I want something that is functional. Now, popcorn isn’t exactly functional but the tin that the set comes in is! After the delicious popcorn is enjoyed it can be washed out and used to store toys, craft items or several other items. I love the Heart Deco design, not only is it fitting for the holiday it could easily be used in my office or a little girls room or nursery.
I still have to figure out what I’m going to use the tin for when the popcorn is gone, but until then we’re just enjoying what’s inside. Each tin is packed with fresh popcorn before it leaves and is sealed for freshness. I actually received my package and let it sit for a couple days before breaking into it. And even after sitting a couple days the popcorn was fresh and delicious.
The Popcorn Factory’s Heart Deco Valentine’s tins start at $34 and go up to $54. You can choose the three flavor tin which has regular popcorn, caramel corn, and butter popcorn. Or you can add a fourth flavor of white cheddar popcorn.
Our tin came with all four flavors, which I have to say was a great treat. My boyfriend loves caramel corn, but the white cheddar popcorn is my favorite. Those two flavors are going a lot quicker than I’d expect! But we’re enjoying every flavor in the tin. Not only is the Heart Deco tin useful later, it’s a gift that can be shared with your Sweetie this holiday season and a great alternative to flowers!
