Wellness Pet Food – Review & Giveaway!

Wellness Petfood
Our pets are like our children, we make sure we give them the love and good nutrition they need. We don’t change their food often, because they seem to like their normal food, but on occasion they test new foods. Now the cats can be hard to please, even Godiva will turn her nose up to fresh chicken because it’s not the treat she wants. But when they were sent Wellness Pet Food to try and review all of the pets love it!

Godiva and Graysie were sent the Wellness Complete Health Cat Food to try. Since they have their normal food they’re use to I introduce this to them as a treat. Just a small amount at dinner time the first couple of days. As usual Godiva was a bit of a snob and sniffed and walked away at first. However, our old lady Graysie went happily to town on the food.

The Wellness Complete Health Cat Food has chicken and chicken meal making up the food. It helps with urinary track health, the girls skin and coat health as well and helps to keep a healthy weight. While this isn’t a concern so much for Godiva, Graysie is starting to lose body mass as she gets into her senior years so to see her eat it so quickly and happily was a nice change.

It took a few days of us giving them this as a treat before I could actually get a shot of Graysie enjoying it. Godiva has come around and now happily eats it as well, she’s a bit of a spoiled girl.

Kiki, Bear and Pudge however were more than excited to see the bag of the Wellness CORE Small Breed Grain Free Dog food. They hadn’t tried it before but they instantly knew the bag was for them and stood at attention until we broke into it. They couldn’t be happier to see that they were getting a new food to try!

Once all of their bowls were filled all three ran to try the food. Unlike the cats they are a lot easier to get pictures of them enjoying the Wellness CORE food. We gave them the recommended amount for a meal, but after each one was done eating they looked up to us asking where more was – I would say they enjoyed the food!

Welness CORE Small Breed dog food is grain free, it is also gluten free if you dog has issues with gluten in their food. It has all of the components your pups will need to stay full of energy and running around. It contains Omega Fatty Acids from Salmon Oil for Healthy Skin & Coat, and Glucosamine and Chondroitin to help maintain bone and joint health.

Besides an overall healthier option, we loved how much all of the girls enjoyed the Wellness Pet Food. It helps keep them healthy and doesn’t compromise on taste or quality.

  1. Although we haven’t tried this food yet, I understand that it is grain free, which is one of the things I always look for when getting food for my furry babies!

  2. I love that Wellness is corn and grain free! Pixie is sensitive to both (and from research that I’ve done, corn and grain are pretty much terrible to feed your pets anyhow). All of my pets are on corn and grain free diets and are in excellent health.
