A teenage girl disappears. Three young women are brutally murdered. All brunette, all last seen near the Perpignan train station. A decades long quest ensues to bring the missing home and bring the serial killer responsible to justice.

The film chronicles the making of Bruce Springsteen’s 1982 “Nebraska” album. Recorded on a four-track recorder in Springsteen’s New Jersey bedroom, the album marked a pivotal time in his life and is considered one of his most enduring works—a raw, haunted acoustic record populated by lost souls searching for a reason to believe. Starring Jeremy Allen White as Bruce Springsteen, the film is directed by Scott Cooper from his adaptation of Warren Zanes’ book of the same name. “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere” also features Jeremy Strong as Springsteen’s long-time confidant and manager, Jon Landau; Paul Walter Hauser; Odessa Young; Stephen Graham; Gaby Hoffman; David Krumholtz and Matthew Pellicano Jr.

DOWN CEMETERY ROAD | premieres on Apple TV+ October 29th

Apple TV+ unveiled the captivating trailer for highly anticipated new thriller “Down Cemetery Road,” starring and executive produced by Academy Award, BAFTA, Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winner Emma Thompson, and also starring Golden Globe and two-time Olivier Award winner Ruth Wilson. The eight-episode series will make its global debut on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Wednesday, October 29 followed by new episodes every Wednesday through December 10.

When a house explodes in a quiet Oxford suburb and a girl disappears in the aftermath, neighbor Sarah Trafford (Wilson) becomes obsessed with finding her and enlists the help of private investigator Zoë Boehm (Thompson). Zoë and Sarah suddenly find themselves in a complex conspiracy that reveals people long believed dead are still among the living, while the living are fast joining the dead.

A new trailer and poster for Walt Disney Animation Studios’ upcoming animated adventure “Zootopia 2” launched and features an all-new original song, “Zoo,” performed by Shakira who returns as the voice of Zootopia’s biggest pop star, Gazelle.

In the trailer, audiences get a first look at brand-new characters and a hidden reptile population when rookie cops Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) come face-to-face with a mysterious pit viper, Gary De’Snake (voice of Academy Award®-winner Ke Huy Quan). The film is directed by the Oscar®-winning team of Disney Animation chief creative officer Jared Bush and Byron Howard and produced by Yvett Merino.

“Zoo” music and lyrics are written by Ed Sheeran, Blake Slatkin and Shakira. The song is produced by Blake Slatkin, Alex (A.C.) Castillo, Shakira and Ed Sheeran. The single “Zoo” releases on Friday, October 10. The “Zootopia 2” score is composed by Academy Award®-winner Michael Giacchino and launches as a part of the full soundtrack on Friday, November 21, ahead of the film’s theatrical release on Wednesday, November 26.

In addition to writing and producing the single “Zoo” with Shakira, Ed Sheeran and Blake Slatkin appear in “Zootopia 2” in special cameos as a pair of sheep named Ed Shearin and Baalake Lambkin.

Disney and SiriusXM will also host an exclusive first listen of “Zoo” on Disney Hits (channel 133) on Wednesday, October 8. SiriusXM’s Disney Hits will play the full song every hour through the end of the day ahead of its worldwide release on October 10.

“Zoo” will resonate with fans of the breakout anthem “Try Everything” featured in the original Oscar® winning film “Zootopia” released in 2016. “Try Everything” has been streamed 2.7 billion times worldwide to date.

The “Zootopia 2” voice cast is composed of an astounding pool of talent that also includes Andy Samberg (“Saturday Night Live”), David Strathairn (“Good Night, and Good Luck”), Macaulay Culkin (“American Horror Story”) and Brenda Song (“The Last Showgirl”) who appear as the Lynxleys, one of the most prominent families in Zootopia. Mometu and Black Box Horror Announce New Content Partnership

Free streaming platform Mometu has announced a new partnership with Black Box Horror founder Caley St. John, bringing her onboard as the company’s first-ever Horror Ambassador.

Known for her sharp insights, deep knowledge of the genre and fearless championing of horror culture, St. John has built Black Box Horror into a trusted hub for fans looking to discover everything from cult classics to boundary-pushing indies. In her new role with Mometu, she’ll serve as resident horror pundit, curating and covering films across the spectrum, including iconic classics, found-footage gems, international standouts and rising indie projects.

“Mometu was built to celebrate voices and visions outside the mainstream, and there’s no genre that encompasses that more passionately than horror,” said Bryan Louzil, VP of Business Development at Mometu. “Caley brings both the credibility and the community to help us showcase horror in a way that’s authentic and exciting for fans.”

The partnership comes at a time when horror continues to dominate pop culture. From festival circuit buzz to streaming viewership spikes, the appetite for genre programming has never been stronger and platforms like Mometu are stepping in to spotlight films that might otherwise get overlooked.

Apple TV+ is the exclusive streaming home for Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the gang until 2030, with extended Peanuts partnership

Apple TV+ announced a five-year extension as the exclusive streaming home for all things Peanuts, through an expanded partnership with WildBrain, Peanuts Worldwide and Lee Mendelson Film Productions until 2030. The new deal includes the classic Peanuts library, as well as plans for more new original Peanuts series and specials. Apple has been home to the Peanuts classic library since 2020, alongside multiple original programming collaborations starting in 2018, and is currently in production with WildBrain and Peanuts on a brand-new animated feature film starring Snoopy, Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang, announced in 2023.
