THE LAST ONE FOR THE ROAD | Opens in New York May 1st | Los Angeles May 8th

The bottom has fallen out for Carlobianchi and Doriano, two small-time Italian crooks. They haven’t been able to mount an honest scam since the 2008 financial crisis and now face the impending mediocrity of middle age. The return of an exiled partner-in-crime from Argentina affords a second chance for long-buried riches, but can Carlobianchi and Doriano put down their beers long enough to keep their eyes on the prize?

Along their slow motion, alcoholic grand tour of the Venetian countryside, they cross paths with Giulio (Filippo Scotti, The Hand of God), a shy architecture student who reluctantly warms to the sodden pair and indulges their rants about the folly of globalization and the slow decline of local color.

Each roadside tavern offers the promise of one last drink – unless the next one ups the ante. Francesco Sossai’s dazzling sophomore feature is many things at once: a road movie, a casual caper, a tribute to a vanishing industrial Italy, a scruffy intergenerational odyssey, and free-flowing bender through time and space.

DESIGNED TO LAST | Streaming on Hulu May 5th

At the intersection of home protection, innovation and entertainment, “Designed To Last” brings together architects, engineers, and inventors to tackle one of today’s most urgent challenges: safeguarding homes against unpredictable and extreme real-world conditions.

Each of the four episodes focuses on a specific environmental threat—wind, water, snow/ice, and fire—highlighting vulnerabilities faced by homeowners across the country and exploring practical, forward-thinking ways for proactive structural protection and to prevent costly damage.

Hosted by Maria Menounos, the series follows three teams of architects, engineers, and inventors as they compete in 10-hour build challenges, modifying tiny homes to withstand specific environmental hazards.

Their work is guided and evaluated by award-winning contractor Eric Eremita and renowned designer Wendell Holland, who judge each design on resilience, craftsmanship, practicality, and creativity under real-world testing conditions. The winning team earns a $100,000 grant to further develop their innovation, helping turn ideas into tangible solutions that can make a lasting impact.

READY OR NOT 2: HERE I COME | Arrives on Digital May 5th and Blu-Ray June 16th

Watch out for a bloody mix of startling twists and unexpected humor when Searchlight Pictures’ Ready or Not 2: Here I Come opens on digital platforms including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home May 5, followed by a Blu-ray and DVD release June 16.

In this action‑packed, darkly comedic horror sequel that expands the Ready or Not mythology with another lethal game of hide‑and‑seek, Samara Weaving returns as Grace alongside an all‑star cast including Kathryn Newton, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Nestor Carbonell, with David Cronenberg, and Elijah Wood. THE SHEEP DETECTIVES | in Theaters May 8th

In this witty, new breed of mystery, George (Hugh Jackman) is a shepherd who reads detective novels to his beloved sheep every night, assuming they can’t possibly understand. But when a mysterious incident disrupts life on the farm, the sheep realize they must become the detectives. MAXIMUM PLEASURE GUARANTEED | Premieres on Apple TV+ May 20th

Apple TV dropped a new teaser for “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed,” the highly anticipated darkly comedic thriller from creator and showrunner David J. Rosen, and led by Emmy Award winner Tatiana Maslany (“Orphan Black,” “The Monkey”) and Jake Johnson (“New Girl,” upcoming “The Dink”). The half hour, ten-episode series will make its global debut on Apple TV with the first two episodes on Wednesday, May 20, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through July 15.

“Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed” follows newly divorced mom Paula (Maslany) as she falls down a dangerous rabbit hole of blackmail, murder and youth soccer. Convinced she witnessed a crime – while simultaneously struggling through a custody battle and an identity crisis – Paula begins her own investigation, one that could unravel a greater conspiracy while also holding the keys to rebuilding her family and sense of self.

Starring Alan Ruck, Odeya Rush, Ashton Sanders, Rosanna Arquette, Sasha Lane, Kirby Johnson, Zion Moreno, Tyler Alvarez, Benjamin Norris, “Corporate Retreat” is a horror-dark comedy feature film following an ensemble of ambitious young executives whose luxury team-building getaway descends into a bloody fight for survival. K-pop’s TOMORROW X TOGETHER | In theaters May 28th

STAR CITY | Premieres on Apple TV+ May 29th

At the Cannes International Series Festival (CANNESERIES), Apple TV celebrates the global premiere of “Star City” with creators and executive producers Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi and stars Rhys Ifans, Anna Maxwell Martin and Agnes O’Casey. The highly anticipated, new space race drama that expands the world of “For All Mankind” will make its global debut on Apple TV on May 29, 2026 followed by one new episode every Friday through July 10.

“Star City” is a propulsive paranoid thriller that takes us back to the key moment in the alt-history retelling of the space race – when the Soviet Union became the first nation to put a man on the moon. But this time, we explore the story from behind the Iron Curtain, showing the lives of the cosmonauts, the engineers, and the intelligence officers embedded among them in the Soviet space program, and the risks they all took to propel humankind forward.

SEVEN SNIPERS | On Digital June 5th

A retired elite sniper (Radha Mitchell) and her daughter (Annabel Wolfe) live a quiet life in the remote Australian countryside. TED LASSO | Season 4 – Returns to Apple TV+ August 5th

Apple TV revealed the premiere date for the highly anticipated fourth season of global hit series “Ted Lasso,” starring and executive produced by Emmy Award winner Jason Sudeikis. “Ted Lasso” season four will make its global debut on Wednesday, August 5, 2026 with one episode, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through October 7.

Season four marks the return of fan favorites including Emmy Award -winner Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Emmy Award -winner Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt and Jeremy Swift, alongside new additions Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern and Grant Feely.

In season four, Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.

“Ted Lasso” season four adds Emmy Award -winner Jack Burditt as executive producer under a new overall deal with Apple TV. Sudeikis stars and executive produces alongside Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee and Bill Wrubel. Goldstein serves as writer and executive producer alongside Leann Bowen. Sarah Walker and Phoebe Walsh will serve as writers and producers for season four, and Sasha Garron co-produces. Julia Lindon will write for season four, and Dylan Marron will serve as story editor. Bill Lawrence executive produces via his Doozer Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television, a division of NBCUniversal content. Recently dumped Owen and hopeful romantic Allie might be the only two singles in the city looking for more than just a quick encounter. They both feel a spark when they meet, but a series of missteps and side quests complicate their night, keeping them apart. As they each race toward and away from each other across the city, they just might discover that the one thing they want most is closer than they think.

VERITY | in Theaters October 2nd

Adapted from Colleen Hoover’s best-selling novel, this seductive, psychological thriller follows renowned author Verity Crawford (Anne Hathaway) and Lowen Ashleigh (Dakota Johnson), a struggling writer who relocates to the remote Crawford estate to ghostwrite for Verity. After Lowen uncovers what appears to be Verity’s chilling autobiographical notes, she wrestles with the disturbing and twisted confessions about Verity’s husband Jeremy (Josh Hartnett), and finds it hard to separate fiction from reality, manipulation from attraction, and opportunity from obsession.
