MIDAS – In Theaters June 28th
Recent college grad Ricky Pryce feels stuck delivering food orders while supporting his sick mother. He’s soon invited to attend a friends mixer where he meets Claire Brent, daughter of the MIDAS Health Insurance CEO. His lies of attending Harvard meant to win her over end up landing him a job at MIDAS — the same company that laid off his mother. After a few weeks on the job, Ricky realizes he can’t keep up the facade for much longer, and devises a plan to set up fraudulent payouts to fund his mother’s surgery, enlisting help from his friends Victor and Sunita, who have their own financial woes.
After their heist goes surprisingly well, tech savvy Victor explains he’s uncovered a dark secret: MIDAS has been buying large amounts of data, including DNA reports, on their policyholders and terminating their policies before big payouts. Faced with this discovery, the team must choose between keeping their ill-gotten gains or exposing the insurance giant’s scheme and risking exposure.

WondLa – Global Premiere on Apple TV+ June 28th
Apple TV+ revealed the trailer for the animated adventure trilogy “WondLa,” hailing from Skydance Animation and based on the New York Times bestselling book series “The Search for WondLa” by Tony DiTerlizzi. Showrun and executive produced by Bobs Gannaway, and featuring a star-studded voice cast, the seven-episode first season of “WondLa” will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on Friday, June 28.
“WondLa” centers around Eva, voiced by Jeanine Mason (“Roswell, New Mexico”), a curious, enthusiastic and spirited teenager being raised in a state-of-the-art underground bunker by Muthr, a robot caretaker, voiced by Emmy Award nominee Teri Hatcher (“Desperate Housewives”). On her 16th birthday, an attack on Eva’s bunker forces her onto the Earth’s surface which is now inhabited by aliens, covered with other-worldly fauna, and no other humans to be found. In fact, it’s no longer called Earth but Orbona. Otto, a loveable giant water bear with whom Eva shares telepathic powers voiced by Emmy Award winner Brad Garrett (“Everybody Loves Raymond”) and Rovender, a cantankerous alien with a troubled past voiced by Gary Anthony Williams (“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows”) join Eva as she leads the team on a dangerous quest to find humans, her home, and her true destiny.
Also lending their voices to the cast are Chiké Okonkwo (“The Birth of a Nation,” “La Brea”) as Besteel, the greatest hunter in all of Orbona; D.C. Douglas (“Sharknado 2: The Second One,” “Black Ops”) as Omnipod, Dynasty Corporation’s sentient hand-held device, issued to every human at the age of six; Emmy Award nominee Alan Tudyk (“Resident Alien”) as Cadmus Pryde, founder of Dynastes Corporation.
The epic trilogy premieres with an adventure-packed seven-episode season, and is executive produced by DiTerlizzi and Gannaway alongside Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Jeremy Bell, Julie Kane-Ritsch and Skydance Animation’s John Lasseter, David Ellison, and Dana Goldberg. “WondLa” joins an exciting slate of new offerings for kids and families on Apple TV+ this summer featuring the first-ever television adaptation of the cult classic film, “Time Bandits,” starring Lisa Kudrow, premiering July 24; the all-new star-studded revival “Yo Gabba GabbaLand!,” inspired by the celebrated Emmy-nominated cultural phenomenon “Yo Gabba Gabba!” premiering August 9; and the second season of beloved animated series “Frog and Toad,” based on the Caldecott and Newbery Honor-winning books, premiering on May 31; with additional titles to be announced.

The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping – In Theaters November 20, 2026
Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B) will return to the world of Panem with the major motion picture adaptation of the next book in the franchise, Suzanne Collins’s highly anticipated Hunger Games novel Sunrise on the Reaping, it was announced today by Adam Fogelson, chair of the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group.
Franchise producer Nina Jacobson, alongside her producing partner Brad Simpson, will return to produce The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping under their Color Force banner. It will be the sixth outing for Color Force since bringing the franchise to Lionsgate in 2012. Francis Lawrence is in talks to direct the film; Lawrence has helmed four previous films in the Hunger Games franchise – every film since Catching Fire.
The film will be released in theaters in North America beginning on November 20, 2026.
The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping will revisit the world of Panem 24 years before the events of The Hunger Games, starting on the morning of the reaping of the 50th Hunger Games, also known as the Second Quarter Quell. One of the most eagerly awaited publishing events of the year, Sunrise on the Reaping will be published by Scholastic simultaneously in print, digital, and audio formats in the US, Canada, the UK and Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand on March 18, 2025.

The world of The Hunger Games that Suzanne Collins created continues to grow around the globe as theme park attractions, experiences, and live events, including The World of the Hunger Games at the Motiongate Dubai theme park and a major stage production set to debut in London from Olivier Award-winning playwright Conor McPherson (“Girl from the North Country”) and directed by Matthew Dunster (“2:22—A Ghost Story,” “Hangmen,” “The Pillowman”).
