BABYLON | Scoring Babylon Featurette Available Now – In Theaters December 23rd

From Damien Chazelle, BABYLON is an original epic set in 1920s Los Angeles led by Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and Diego Calva, with an ensemble cast including Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li and Jean Smart. A tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, it traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood.

Apple TV+ unveils trailer for animated short film “The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse” ahead of December 25 debut

Apple TV+ released today the trailer for the upcoming animated short film “The Boy, The Mole, The Fox, and the Horse,” based on the internationally best-selling book of the same name by celebrated author Charlie Mackesy. The story of kindness, friendship, courage and hope for viewers of all ages premieres globally on December 25, Christmas Day, on Apple TV+.

The poignant journey follows the unlikely friendship of a boy, a mole, a fox and a horse traveling together in the boy’s search for home. The film, featuring Mackesy’s distinctive illustrations brought to life in full color with beautiful hand-drawn animation, stars BAFTA Award winner Tom Hollander (“The White Lotus”) as ‘The Mole,’ SAG Award winner Idris Elba (“Luther”) as ‘The Fox,’ Gabriel Byrne (“All Things Bright and Beautiful”) as ‘The Horse,’ and newcomer Jude Coward Nicoll as ‘The Boy.’ 

Matthew Freud presents a Charlie Mackesy film, produced by Academy Award nominee Cara Speller (“Pear Cider and Cigarettes”) of NoneMore Productions and J.J. Abrams and Hannah Minghella of Bad Robot Productions. Directed by Peter Baynton (“The Tiger Who Came To Tea”) and Mackesy, the film is adapted from the original book in collaboration with Jon Croker (“Paddington 2”). The film is executive produced by Jony Ive and Academy Award nominee Woody Harrelson (“Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”). Original score by composer Isobel Waller-Bridge, performed by the BBC Concert Orchestra and conducted by Geoff Alexander. 

The film is presented in partnership with the BBC, who will premiere “The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse” in the UK, with the film available on Apple TV+ outside of the UK, this Christmas.

Also included are specials from Peanuts and WildBrain including Children’s & Family Emmy Award nominated “It’s the Small Things, Charlie Brown,” “Lucy’s School,” Humanitas Prize nominee “To Mom (and Dad), With Love,” Annie Award nominee “For Auld Lang Syne” and “Here We Are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth,” the BAFTA Children & Young People’s Award and Daytime Emmy Award-winning television event based on the New York Times best-selling book and TIME Best Book of the Year by Oliver Jeffers. Apple TV+ will also soon expand its slate with “Jane,” a new mission-driven series from J.J. Johnson, Sinking Ship Entertainment and the Jane Goodall Institute.

The kids and family film offerings include star-studded animated adventure film “Luck” from Apple Original Films and Skydance Animation which premiered this year and Academy Award-nominated and BAFTA Children & Young People’s Award-winning animated film “Wolfwalkers.”

THE GRANDMASTER OF KUNG FU, debuting on Digital, Blu-ray and DVD January 31 from Well Go USA Entertainment. Du Yuhang plays a martial arts master engaged in a life-or-death battle with a Japanese military commander in order to protect an important martial arts stronghold. Directed by Cheng Siyu (Fist of Fury: Soul), THE GRANDMASTER OF KUNG FU also stars Gao Xuemei, Yang Yongfeng, Li Ruoxi and Zhuang Han.  A Hi-YAH! original, the film is available on the martial arts streaming service now.

80 FOR BRADY | New Featurette Available Now – In Theaters February 3rd
