The live theater capture of the hit musical HADESTOWN, which won eight Tony Awards in 2019 including Best Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, featuring the five original principals of the Broadway company. The genre-defying new musical blends modern American folk music with New Orleans-inspired jazz to reimagine a sweeping ancient tale. Following two intertwining love stories — that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of King Hades and his wife Persephone —HADESTOWN invited audiences on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back.

AGATHA CHRISTIE’S TOMMY & TUPPENCE | Streaming on Britbox September 15th

BritBox released the official trailer and key art for Agatha Christie’s Tommy & Tuppence, which premieres with two episodes September 15th in the U.S. and Canada. BritBox commissioned the series, a six-part adaptation of the Agatha Christie novels and short stories starring Antonia Thomas (The Good Doctor, Still Up), Josh Dylan (Buccaneers, Mamma Mia 2) and Imelda Staunton (Harry Potter, the Paddington films). The series is produced by Lookout Point (Pride and Prejudice, Happy Valley), part of BBC Studios, and Agatha Christie Limited.

In the first contemporary English language television adaptation of Agatha Christie’s stories, Tommy and Tuppence are a detective duo for the ages. They fall in love, fall out of it, and tumble back in, all while solving some thrilling, entertaining mysteries along the way.

The cast also includes Nicholas Richardson (Wu-Tang: An American Saga, Younger), Charlie Condou (Dr. Who, Unforgotten), Callie Cooke (F1, Cheaters), and Chizzy Akudolu (Little Disasters, The Woman in the Wall).

The series is written by Phoebe Eclair-Powell (The Road Trip, Harm), who also executive produces, in her first drama series commission for television. Fergus O’Brien (Happy Valley, The Tourist) directs the first four episodes and Ellie Heydon (Outrageous, Trying) the last two. Stella Merz (Miss Austen, Gentleman Jack) produces.

BROTHERS | Streaming on Apple TV on September 23rd

Apple TV unveiled the trailer for “Brothers,” the new comedy series starring and executive produced by Academy Award winner Matthew McConaughey and Academy Award nominee Woody Harrelson, and showrun and executive produced by multi-Emmy Award nominee and Peabody winner Lee Eisenberg. The eight-episode comedy will premiere on Apple TV with the first two episodes on Wednesday, September 23, followed by one new episode every Wednesday through November 4, 2026.

“Brothers” follows McConaughey and Harrelson, who play fictionalized versions of themselves, and whose friendship is thrown into chaos when they uncover a decades-old secret: they might actually be brothers. After Woody’s daughter’s engagement falls apart, he loads up the family and heads to Austin for an extended stay at Matthew’s ranch. But what begins as a healing getaway quickly spirals when Matthew’s mother, Ma Mac (played by Holland Taylor), accidentally lets slip a long-buried secret that the two friends might actually be brothers. As Woody turns the ranch upside down in pursuit of the truth, Matthew finds himself juggling an entirely different identity crisis: a potential run for Governor of Texas. The result is a heartfelt, chaotic, and wildly funny story about friendship, family, fame, and the messy line between myth and reality.

The ensemble cast starring alongside Harrelson and McConaughey includes Natalie Martinez, Brittany Ishibashi, Nolan Almeida, Ella Grace Helton, Noah Carganilla, Highdee Kuan, Oona Yaffe and Holland Taylor.

“Brothers” is produced for Apple TV by Paramount Television Studios. Eisenberg, McConaughey and Harrelson executive produce alongside Natalie Sandy, David West Read, Trish Hofmann, Bill Bost, Jason Winer, David Finkel & Brett Baer and Jeremy Plager. Trent O’Donnell directs multiple episodes including the pilot.

AVENGERS ENDGAME: ENCORE | in IMAX and Theaters September 25th

The epic conclusion to the Infinity Saga returns to theaters as Avengers Endgame: Encore on September 25, 2026. After devastating events wiped out half the world’s population, the remaining heroes struggle to move forward. Ultimately, they must come together to restore order and harmony in the universe and bring their loved ones back in a dramatic showdown against Thanos.

QUEEN BUDAPEST | in IMAX – October 7th

As the first Western stadium rock show to take place behind the Iron Curtain, and the final filmed Queen live performance, Queen Budapest will be released in IMAX for a limited time only to mark the 40th anniversary of this pivotal moment in the band’s history. The film has been meticulously restored in 4K from the original filmed 35mm footage by Sir Peter Jackson’s Park Road Post Production facility in New Zealand, with newly remixed audio from the original multitrack recordings. Don’t miss your chance to experience this historic Queen performance like never before, in IMAX.

On July 27, 1986, Queen performed the largest-ever stadium concert at the Népstadion in Budpest in front of 80,000 ecstatic fans. The concert was part of the famed Magic Tour, which was the last time the band toured with lead singer Freddie Mercury. Now, this original concert film has been beautifully rescanned and remastered in 4K alongside a dynamic new audio mix, featuring many of Queen’s favorite tracks – “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” “I Want to Break Free” and “We Are The Champions.” With three years to go before the fall of the Berlin Wall, this was the first western rock concert performed in a stadium behind the then iron curtain. It was of such significance to the Hungarian authorities and film industry that a group of the country’s top film cameramen and technicians were brought together to film it for posterity.

From two⁠-⁠time Palme d’Or winner Cristian Mungiu, a Norwegian woman and her devout Romanian husband relocate with their five children to a remote, close⁠-⁠knit, coastal town. Their teenage children form a fast bond with a neighboring family as unease begins to simmer around their rigid beliefs. When allegations of abuse emerge, they are forced to confront a system of judgment that blurs the line between concern and prejudice.

THE SOCIAL RECKONING | In Theaters October 9th

Inspired by true events and the whistleblower who started the social media reckoning we’re seeing play out today, this Aaron Sorkin original screenplay is a companion piece to the hit film The Social Network and a true David and Goliath story. Frances Haugen (Madison), a young Facebook engineer, enlists the help of Jeff Horwitz (White), a Wall Street Journal reporter, to go on a dangerous journey that ends up blowing the whistle on the social network’s most guarded secrets.

ALI G: WHO IZ I? | Only in Theaters October 23rd

After twenty years spent “chillin’, tokin’ and bonin’”, Ali G is shocked to discover that his long-term girlfriend, Julie, is 8 months pregnant. Faced with an extra mouth to feed, he gets off his batty and heads to America to reclaim his former glory… but soon encounters adversaries who will ultimately threaten his and his child’s very existence. Sacha Baron Cohen’s new film, ALI G: WHO IZ I? marks his directorial debut and will be released in theaters on October 23 by Amazon MGM Studios.

POSSIBLE LOVE | In Select Theaters October 23rd, On Netflix November 6th

The official trailer has been unveiled for Possible Love which is South Korea’s Official Selection for International Feature Film at the 99th Academy Awards. The film will release in select theaters October 23 before arriving on Netflix worldwide on November 6.

The film follows two married couples — a laid-off worker and his wife, and a documentary filmmaker and her husband — whose paths cross when the filmmaker sets out to film them, bringing both marriages face to face with their different lives and hidden desires.

12 12 12 | Streaming on Apple TV November 13th

Apple TV revealed a first-look at its upcoming heist drama “12 12 12,” starring and executive produced by Emmy Award nominee Anthony Mackie and Golden Globe and Critics Choice Awards nominee Jamie Dornan. The thrilling, eight-episode original series will premiere globally on Friday, November 13, 2026 with the first two episodes, followed by one episode every Friday through December 25, 2026.

Each episode of “12 12 12” unfolds across three timelines of a heist: the 12 months of planning, the 12 hours of the heist, and the 12 days following the heist. The series follows a disgraced FBI agent (Mackie) and an American career criminal (Dornan) who play a zero-sum game of cat and mouse across Europe. At the center of it all is the daring, epic raid on a bank vault deep beneath the streets of Zurich.

In addition to Mackie and Dornan, the ensemble cast includes Jack Kesy (“12 Strong,” “Hellboy: The Crooked Man”), Agathe Rousselle (“Titane”), Sallie Harmsen (“Blade Runner 2049”), José Garcia (“The Ax,” “Now You See Me”) and Emmy Award nominee Kali Reis (“True Detective,” “Mercy”), among others.

The series is created and executive produced by Dudi Appleton and Jim Keeble. Emmy nominated and BAFTA winning filmmaker Kari Skogland directs multiple episodes, including the pilot, and serves as an executive producer. THE FURTHER MIS-ADVENTURES OF CLIFF BOOTH | in IMAX Theaters globally November 25 and Streaming on Netflix December 23rd

Brad Pitt returns to his Academy Award-winning role as Cliff Booth, only this time it’s 1977 and it’s a very different Hollywood. Directed by David Fincher from a screenplay by Quentin Tarantino, the film also stars Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Peter Weller.

BritBox has announced casting as filming begins on new detective drama The Detection Club, a 10-part mystery drama from creator Kit Lambert, inspired by the golden age of detective fiction.

Set against a backdrop of literary glamour, social change and deadly intrigue, The Detection Club follows the mysterious society formed by three of Britain’s most celebrated crime writers Agatha Christie, Dorothy L. Sayers and G.K. Chesterton, as they are drawn into a series of real-life murder investigations.

Produced by BBC Studios Drama Productions and filming across the West Midlands, The Detection Club stars Miles Jupp (Belgravia: The Next Chapter, Napoleon) as G.K. Chesterton, Bryony Hannah (Call the Midwife, Rivals) as Agatha Christie, Cara Theobold (Downton Abbey, The Syndicate) as Dorothy L. Sayers with Viraj Juneja (Little English, Get Duked!) as detective D.I. Greenway.

Created for television by Kit Lambert (Father Brown, Cooper & Fry, Whitstable Pearl) and based on an original idea by acclaimed author Simon Brett, the series, set in 1930s London, follows the legendary crime writers as they hone their craft within the hallowed walls of a secret London location.
