LUDWIG | Season 2 Streaming on Britbox October 13th

BritBox debuted the official trailer for season two of Ludwig, featuring all new cast additions Mark Bonnar, Sian Clifford, Ben Ashenden and Rumi Sutton. The six-episode season premieres on BritBox in North America on October 13, with weekly episodes following until the finale on November 17.

Picking up from the end of season one, master puzzle-setter John ‘Ludwig’ Taylor (David Mitchell) is now a Crime Scene Consultant, working alongside DCI Russell Carter (Dipo Ola), on ‘impossible’ crimes for the Cambridge Police Authority. No longer having to masquerade as his brother, he’s openly more ‘Ludwig’ than ever – brilliant at solving puzzles but hopeless at everything else. But John’s identical twin brother, James, is still missing, and now that he’s an official employee of the station, John is forbidden from using any police resources to look for his brother or uncover exactly what he was investigating. Of course, John won’t stop and neither will Lucy (Anna Maxwell Martin), John’s sister-in-law and wife of his missing brother James. A puzzle needs solving and a husband and father needs bringing home. One masquerade may have ended, but a new one has just begun.

The second season of the acclaimed detective seriesstars David Mitchell and Anna Maxwell Martin. Season two also features new series regulars Mark Bonnar (Dept. Q, Guilt) as newspaper editor Gareth Fisher, Sian Clifford (Fleabag, The Ballad of Wallis Island) as local MP Joanne Kemper, Ben Ashenden (Deep Cover, Black Mirror) as DC Ethan Cole, and Rumi Sutton (After the Flood, Mutiny) as DC Caitlin Sullivan. Stephen Merchant also guest stars this season as Danny Sloane, a cocky snooker champion who is at odds with John in the season’s fourth episode.

Returning cast include Dylan Hughes as Henry Betts-Taylor, Dorothy Atkinson as DCS Carol Shaw, Ralph Ineson as Chief Constable Ziegler, and Karl Pilkington as DI Matt Neville.

Ludwig is created and written by Mark Brotherhood and produced by Big Talk Studios (part of ITV Studios), in collaboration with That Mitchell and Webb Company. Season one of Ludwig stands as the biggest mystery genre launch on BritBox record and ranks as BritBox’s most-watched mystery season since its March 2025 premiere.

Ludwig season two (6×60’) is a Big Talk Studios production in association with That Mitchell And Webb Company, a co-production with BritBox for the BBC. It is produced in association with ITV Studios, which also handles international distribution. The series was commissioned for BBC One and BBC iPlayer by Jon Petrie, BBC Director of Comedy. Season two is again written by Mark Brotherhood, and the directors are George Kane (episodes 1, 2 & 3) and Stella Corradi (episodes 4, 5 & 6). WHALEFALL | In Theaters October 16th

A new trailer and poster for 20th Century Studios and Imagine Entertainment’s “Whalefall” are available now. The epic and emotional survival thriller based on the acclaimed novel about one young man’s encounter with a massive sperm whale opens exclusively in theaters October 16.

“Whalefall,” which is directed by Brian Duffield and features a screenplay by Brian Duffield & Daniel Kraus based on the book by Daniel Kraus by the same name, stars Austin Abrams, Josh Brolin, Elisabeth Shue, John Ortiz, Jane Levy, Emily Rudd. The producers are Brian Grazer, p.g.a., Brian Duffield, p.g.a., Jeb Brody, Allan Mandelbaum, p.g.a., with Doug Merrifield, Richard Abate, Will Rowbotham serving as executive producers.

Following the death of his father (Josh Brolin), Jay Gardiner (Austin Abrams) goes diving off the Central Coast of California in search of his remains, but is swallowed by a massive sperm whale. While trapped inside its belly with only one hour of oxygen left, Jay comes to realize that the hard-earned lessons his father imparted may be the key to his escape.

AGATHA CHRISTIE’S TOMMY & TUPPENCE | Streaming on Hulu Fall 2026

Agatha Christie’s Tommy & Tuppence ushers in the latest chapter of Christie storytelling and BritBox’s fall slate. Starring Antonia Thomas (Dig), Josh Dylan (The Buccaneers) and Imelda Staunton (Vera Drake), the series premieres September 15 in celebration of the mystery writer’s birthday. The new installment anchors “Eras of Agatha Christie,” a month-long celebration bringing together beloved classics and contemporary adaptations that showcase the many sides of the Queen of Crime.

BritBox heads into fall with the highly anticipated return of some of its most acclaimed crime and mystery favorites. David Mitchell (Peep Show) is back on the case in Ludwig Season 2 on October 13, followed by Timothy Spall (The Sixth Commandment) and Gwyneth Keyworth (Lost Boys & Fairies) reuniting for more unconventional sleuthing in Death Valley Season 2 on November 17. STICK | Season 2 – Streaming on Apple TV+ November 4th

Apple TV revealed a first-look at the second season of its beloved sports comedy “Stick,” starring and executive produced by Owen Wilson and created by Jason Keller, which will expand its cast with Emmy Award nominee Golden Globe winner Rhea Seehorn (“Pluribus”) in a supporting role. Also starring Peter Dager, Marc Maron, Mariana Treviño, Lilli Kay, Judy Greer and Timothy Olyphant, “Stick” returns for its second season on Apple TV on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 with two episodes, followed by one episode weekly until December 30, 2026.

“Stick” is a heartfelt, feel-good comedy about a found family and their relationships set within the world of golf as it has never been shown before. In season one, Wilson stars as Pryce Cahill, an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer whose career was derailed prematurely 20 years ago. After the collapse of his marriage and getting fired from his job at an Indiana sporting goods store, Pryce hedges his bets, and future, entirely on a troubled 17-year-old golf phenom named Santi (Peter Dager).

In season two, Santi takes the next step in his pursuit of professional golf, only to discover how quickly the game changes when talent becomes expectation. As Santi chases his dream, Pryce Cahill finds himself wondering what might still be possible for him. Urged on by his former rival Clark Ross (Timothy Olyphant), Pryce does something nobody expects: he bets on himself, launching an improbable comeback in hopes of becoming the oldest golfer ever to win a major. But the road back proves far harder than he imagined. And the closer Pryce gets to the golfer he once was, the more he is forced to confront why he never fulfilled the promise everyone once saw in him. With brilliant new coach Amanda (Rhea Seehorn) and trusted caddie Mitts (Marc Maron) in his corner, Pryce sets out to prove — to the golf world and, more importantly, to himself — that maybe he really was as good as everyone always said he was.

In addition to Seehorn, season two also welcomes John Higgins, Billy Zane, Rex Linn, Sasha Alexander and Missi Pyle, and features return guest appearances from legendary broadcasters Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman, “Good Good’s” Matt Scharff, and golf enthusiast Dan Rapaport.

GHOST SOLDIER | In Theaters November 6th

BAD MONKEY | Season 2 Streaming on Apple TV+ December 2nd

Apple TV revealed first-look images from the second season of its acclaimed comedy “Bad Monkey,” starring and executive produced by Vince Vaughn and hailing from award-winning creator and executive producer Bill Lawrence. Based on Carl Hiaasen’s New York Times bestselling novel and enduring cult favorite, the 10-episode sophomore season will revolve around an all-new original story, and will make its global debut on Apple TV with one episode on Wednesday, December 2, 2026, followed by one new episode every Wednesday through February 3, 2027.

After Andrew Yancy (Vaughn) witnesses the murder of Florida’s finest fixer, an ambitious state attorney teams him up with a strait-laced forensic accountant to solve the crime. Eager to regain his detective’s badge, Yancy finds himself embroiled in a turf war between rival criminal organizations as he navigates a variety of Florida oddballs, including an erudite mob boss, his unhinged son, and a hard-edged young woman who needs Yancy’s protection. Meanwhile, Yancy contends with his aging father; unresolved romantic tension with Dr. Rosa Campensino (Martinez), who launches her own investigation into a mysterious rash; and a bombastic animal relocation specialist whose business threatens the local environment.

Season two is led by returning stars Vaughn, Natalie Martinez, Charlotte Lawrence and John Ortiz, alongside new additions John Malkovich, Yvonne Strahovski, Zavior Phillips. Nate Jackson, Sofia Boutella, Brent Morin, Joey Avery, Dax Shepard, Sam Jaeger, Margarita Levieva, Peter Billingsley and June Diane Raphael are guest stars.

Produced by Warner Bros. Television, “Bad Monkey” is developed by executive producer and showrunner Bill Lawrence through his Doozer Productions and its overall deal with WBTV. DUNE: PART THREE | In Imax with Early Screenings Available Starting December 14th – In Theaters December 18th

Dune: Part Three in IMAX brings audiences a bold and unforgettable cinematic experience on the world’s most immersive screen and places audiences at the center of one of this year’s most anticipated films.

Designed from the ground up for IMAX, Dune was, in director Denis Villeneuve’s own words, “dreamed, designed and shot” for the format, making IMAX the definitive way to experience the film as he intended. Just like he did for Dune: Part One and Dune: Part Two, Director Denis Villeneuve worked closely with IMAX throughout the entire production process, conducting camera tests and reviews at IMAX’s headquarters, and optimizing the film’s visual presentation to create a cinematic experience designed specifically for IMAX.

Dune: Part Three features 71 minutes of IMAX’s exclusive 1.90:1 Expanded Aspect Ratio. With the image filling the giant IMAX screen from top to bottom, moviegoers in IMAX theatres will be fully immersed in the action.
