CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD | On Digital April 15th, 4K/Blu-Ray and DVD on May 13th

Film Synopsis
In Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Brave New World, Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) – who now wields the shield of Captain America after events in “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” – meets with newly elected U.S. president Thaddeus Ross (Harrison Ford) and soon finds himself in the middle of an international incident. In a race against time, Sam must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.

SUPERBOYS OF MALEGAON |Streaming on Prime Video April 24th

Superboys of Malegaon is a film based on the life of Nasir Shaikh, an amateur filmmaker from the town of Malegaon. The residents of the town look to Bollywood cinema for a much-needed escape from daily drudgery. Nasir gets inspired to make a film for the people of Malegaon, by the people of Malegaon. He bands together his ragtag group of friends to bring his vision to life, thereby bringing a fresh lease of life into the town. The film is a poignant yet uplifting take on both filmmaking and friendship – and what happens when those two worlds collide.

ARTIE SHAW: TIME IS ALL YOU’VE GOT | Has Been Restored in 4K and Premieres on VOD/Digital on April 25th

Outspoken, manipulative, independent thinking and oftentimes controversial, Artie Shaw (1910-2004) was one of the most popular stars of the Swing Era, who famously broke the color barrier by hiring the legendary Billie Holiday, Hot Lips Page and Roy Eldridge for his bands. His complex love-hate relationship with his own celebrity caused him to walk away from performing almost as many times as he walked away from his marriages.

Winner of the 1986 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature, ARTIE SHAW: TIME IS ALL YOU’VE GOT portrays the restless life and five-decade career of the gifted clarinetist/bandleader known as the “King of the Clarinet.” Anchored by an incisive interview recorded when he was 72 years old, this entertaining portrait is much more than a jazz film; it is the insightful story of a brilliant and complex individual.

THE GULLSPANG MIRACLE | Premieres on VOD & Digital on May 2nd

A seemingly divine premonition leads pious Norwegian sisters Kari and May to buy an apartment in the small Swedish town of Gullspång. To their surprise, the seller looks remarkably similar to their older sister Astrid, who committed suicide thirty years earlier. What’s even more odd is that this doppelgänger used to go by “Lita,” the same nickname as their deceased sister.

What begins as an eerie story of destiny, faith and improbable coincidence soon becomes a Pandora’s Box of stranger-than-fiction revelations and awkwardly comical mishaps in this “riveting” and “one-of-a-kind” documentary, the debut documentary feature from director Maria Fredrikkson. “Complete with Lynchian echoes of Twin Peaks” (The Hollywood Reporter), the festival favorite captured the Best Editing Award and was nominated for Best Documentary Feature at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival.

LONG WAY HOME | Premieres on Apple TV+ on May 9th

Apple TV+ released the trailer for the eagerly awaited new season of the epic motorcycle adventure series “Long Way Home.” Executive produced by and starring Ewan McGregor alongside Charley Boorman, this 10-episode journey rekindles the duo’s famed road-tripping spirit, bringing them a little closer to home this time.

“Long Way Home” follows Ewan and Charley as they ride refurbished vintage motorbikes from Ewan’s home in Scotland to Charley’s in England — but rather than take the shortest route, they go the long way! They head across the North Sea to Scandinavia, all the way up to the Arctic Circle and then down to the Baltics and through continental Europe, before eventually hopping back over the English Channel two months later. It’s an adventure that will take them to more than fifteen countries, through spectacular scenery and along some of the greatest driving roads in the world. Along the way they’ll immerse themselves in each country’s culture, meet the locals and try their hand at unique and eclectic activities.

The Emmy Award-nominated series is executive produced by Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman, alongside longtime collaborators David Alexanian and Russ Malkin, who also direct. The new “Long Way” season follows Ewan and Charley’s previous adventures in “Long Way Round,” “Long Way Down” and “Long Way Up,” now streaming on Apple TV+.

MURDERBOT | Premiering on Apple TV+ on May 16th

Apple TV+ unveiled the trailer for “Murderbot,” the highly anticipated comedic thriller series starring and executive produced by Emmy Award winner Alexander Skarsgård and hailing from Academy Award nominees Chris and Paul Weitz. The ten-episode series will premiere globally on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Friday, May 16, 2025, followed by new episodes every Friday through July 11.

Based on Martha Wells’ best-selling, Hugo and Nebula Award winning book series “The Murderbot Diaries,” “Murderbot” is a sci-fi thriller/comedy about a self-hacking security construct who is horrified by human emotion yet drawn to its vulnerable clients. Played by Skarsgård, Murderbot must hide its free will and complete a dangerous assignment when all it really wants is to be left alone to watch futuristic soap operas and figure out its place in the universe.

The ensemble cast also includes Noma Dumezweni, David Dastmalchian, Sabrina Wu, Akshay Khanna, Tattiawna Jones and Tamara Podemski.

“Murderbot” hails from Paramount Television Studios. The Weitz brothers wrote, directed and produced under their Depth of Field banner. Andrew Miano also executive produces alongside for Depth of Field. David S. Goyer executive produces alongside Keith Levine for Phantom Four. Wells serves as consulting producer.

KINGDOM OF HEAVEN | 20th Anniversary Release on 4K ULTRA HD Blu-Ray on May 27th

The 20th Anniversary Blu-ray disc release of Kingdom of Heaven is a three-disc set encased in a collectible SteelBook® that honors the remarkable weaponry and masks featured in the film.
