Have you ever looked at your kids and thought “What are they thinking?” Sure, as a parent I think this all the time but have you really stopped for a moment and thought about how their little mind is processing information. I know that most of the times I stop for a second and then move on with what I am doing.
The newest animated movie from DreamWorks, The Boss Baby, gives you just a peak into the imagination of kids and pulls you right in. When his little brother “Boss Baby” arrives, Tim’s whole world is turned upside down. The Boss Baby takes everything from Tim, his parents, his fun, and his special song. Boss Baby is out to save his company, Baby Corp, from losing all their baby love to adorable puppies and will not let anything, or anyone, get in his way.
The Boss Baby is fun and entertaining movie filled with adventures, danger, learning, and love. Throughout the movie Tim resorts back to his imagination to help him get through situations, some are quite funny while others are very truthful to having a new little baby brother. There are car chases, pirate fights, ninja moves, and lots of puppies. In the end, the bond formed between Boss Baby and Tim is the definition of true sibling love.
My kids loved the movie and laughed often. There were plenty of action and movement and lots of entertaining moments to not only keep the kids watching, but thoroughly enjoying the movie. For the adults there are the classic one liners and jokes that we have come to expect from animated movies. The Boss Baby is quite the enjoyable overall family movie. I really liked that The Boss Baby showed just how vivid and wild a child’s imagination can be as well what it like is to get a new baby in the house as an older child. My step-daughter went through the same thing in our house and I think this was quite accurate of how she felt at times, Tim just get to have more fun with it!
The Boss Baby comes to theaters Friday, March 31, 2017 so stop what you are doing and head over to your local theatre this weekend and enjoy the show.
About The Boss Baby:
DreamWorks Animation and the director of Madagascar invite you to meet a most unusual baby. He wears a suit, speaks with the voice and wit of Alec Baldwin, and stars in the animated comedy, DreamWorks’ The Boss Baby. The Boss Baby is a hilariously universal story about how a new baby’s arrival impacts a family, told from the point of view of a delightfully unreliable narrator, a wildly imaginative 7 year old named Tim. With a sly, heart-filled message about the importance of family, DreamWorks’ The Boss Baby is an authentic and broadly appealing original comedy for all ages.
Starring the voices of Alec Baldwin, Jimmy Kimmel, Lisa Kudrow, Tobey Maguireand Steve Buscemi.
