Candy Bark Recipe

Candy Bark RecipeThere’s so many delicious ways to make sweets for your Valentine, and one of my favorite ways to do it is to make candy bark! Yes, you could make it the traditional way in a large sheet and break it into chunks. But what’s fun about that? I like making the candy bark with some of our favorite cookie cutters, and adding different toppings to each one to make them individual.

Candy Bark RecipeWhat you need to make your candy bark:

  • Cookie sheet
  • Non stick baking mat or parchment paper
  • Cookie Cutters
  • White Chocolate bars
  • Toppings: Candy bits, nuts, dried cranberries, coconut etc.

Candy Bark RecipeDirections:

  1. Lay your cookie cutters on your baking mat on your cookie sheet and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl break your white chocolate bars into small pieces. Heat on high in 30 minute increments, stirring in between until fully melted.
  3. Using a spoon, fill your cookie cutters with chocolate to you desired thickness. The thicker you make them, the fewer you will have.
  4. While the chocolate is still tacky, add your toppings and press them gently in the chocolate.
  5. Refrigerate for 1 hour until fully set. Press on your candy gently until they come out of the cookie cutters.
