We’ve all been there, relaxing on vacation and meeting other couples and people doing the same. Sometimes, these friendships are the ones that last a lifetime, but more often than not – they’re the type of friendship that ends as soon as you get back home and return to reality. Knowing that this isn’t just an occasional occurrence, 20th Century is dropping a movie that pokes light at the extremes of what making friends on Vacation could actually be.
Vacation Friends is available on Hulu today with a subscription to the service and is a movie that is almost too ridiculous to be true. It follows Marcus and Emily on a romantic get-away that has fallen apart and the unlikely friends they make along the way in Ron and Kayla. And despite all of the red flags that happen almost immediately, Marcus and Emily relax and go wild with their new friends – never expecting to see them again after the vacation ends.
While we didn’t expect that Vacation Friends to be a thinker movie, it is more of an escape from reality itself. It is full of laughs, over-the-top moments, and of course sex, drugs, and alcohol. While the moments seem extreme, they are perfect for a movie that will have you laughing deep from your gut. It is a movie that you can watch and don’t have to pay attention to every detail – although you may want to put your phone down and just enjoy the ride.
Vacation Friends will be available on Hulu today. Obviously, this movie isn’t one that you’ll watch with the kids, but it is one that will have you laughing at the ridiculous situations that keep happening. The movie doesn’t take itself too seriously, and you shouldn’t either. So, if you’re looking for a movie that will be enjoyable for a movie night and have everyone laughing – this is the movie for you.

In this raw and raunchy comedy, straight-laced Marcus and Emily are befriended by wild, thrill-seeking partiers Ron and Kyla at a resort in Mexico. Living in the moment, the usually level-headed couple lets loose to enjoy a week of uninhibited fun and debauchery with their new “vacation friends.” Months after their walk on the wild side, Marcus and Emily are horrified when Ron and Kyla show up uninvited at their wedding, creating chaos and proving that what happens on vacation, doesn’t necessarily stay on vacation.
