There are times that it seems hard to help out where it is most needed. But this past weekend, over 500 women gathered at the Royal Park hotel in Rochester, Michigan to help support a worthy cause. The Women Helping Women Luncheon and Fashion Show was held for the 20th year, supporting Grace Centers of Hope. Grace Centers of Hope is a religious based organization that is completely publicly funded that helps women and families rebuild their lives after battling addiction. From a place to stay, emotional support and more – people within the Grace Centers of Hope program get the support they need to start their lives without the addiction again.
The Women Helping Women Luncheon offered guests the opportunity to support Grace Centers of Hope through donations and a silent auction. All while meeting in a fabulous location and watching some of the latest designs from local Detroit designers as well as national and international names as well. Throughout the fashion show, guests were treated to special models as some of the survivors and patrons of Grace Centers of Hope took to the run way.
While the programs at Grace Centers of Hope give the women and families a place to rebuild their lives, the run way allowed their confidence and beauty to shine through. With moving stories shared by the women and their families, their strong presence on the stage, we know they’re off to better things.
The Women Helping Women Luncheon and Fashion Show is held yearly, and Grace Centers of Hope holds additional events throughout the year to raise funds to help run their programs. You can find different ways to support the program and their mission on their website, including local stores you can shop at.
