The Top Five Tourist Attractions To Visit

There are so many different tourist attractions you should hit while you’re traveling, but if you had to make a bucket list of just a few to hit where would you go? Here are five of our top tourist traps and locations you need to visit on your next trip.

Death Valley

Death Valley, California is the Hottest and the Coolest place to visit in the USA! If you’re like me and enjoy visiting places of extreme temperatures, then the little motel at Stovepipe Wells will accommodate a very reasonably priced night’s stay before you venture into the Death Valley Desert in the morning.

There’s nothing much to do at the Stovepipe motel, other than to dive into the naturally heated swimming pool with your clothes on and have them dry off before you reach the surface. Of course, I’m talking about visiting in the summer time, when else would one go?

Bryce Canyon National Park

Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah is a tricky little hike back in time. My advice to anyone, is make sure that you enter at the steep end!

Bryce’s red spiral rocks and archways sure make a great family adventure. The park is compact and small enough Not to get lost in and I guarantee that you’ll be in and out of there within two hours. Don’t forget to pack plenty of film and digital chips, because this visit will be so spectacular, you’ll wish that you’d packed your own film crew.

Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls, New York is another of my favorites. One reason is, that you don’t have to leave the country and get interrogated on your way back, and the other is that one can enjoy the Falls in the comfort of your own elbow room with most of the tourists on the other side of the river.

Be sure to check out the Red Coach Inn on Buffalo Avenue; it is not only right next to the Falls, but it is a very charming and luxurious establishment with unbelievable rates, especially if you go in the fall as I did. (Pardon the pun)

If you do wish to venture across Rainbow Bridge into Canada, don’t expect to meet your deceased pets there. Instead, just pay the toll and make sure that you have your Green cards, Driver’s Licenses and Passports……Those US and Canadian Border Guards are extremely dedicated to their jobs.

Rehoboth Beach

Rehoboth Beach, Delaware is a wonderful place for a family visit. Relax and stroll the mile long board walk, dance in the sand, or simply meander through the quaint and original shopping areas and residential side streets that happily wend their way down to the ocean front.

Rehoboth is full of restaurants, gift shops and hotels, However, this little Delaware tourist gem has Not succumbed to commercialism and high rise monstrosities as did it’s neighboring Ocean City, Maryland, making Rehoboth the tourist attraction that always was, and still is!

Washington D.C.

Washington D. C. is a great place to visit. Not only is it home to that little White House place on Pennsylvania Avenue, but there are enough museums to keep everyone in your family occupied for hours, or even days for that matter?

If you are planning on going to Washington to see a bunch of Memorials, The White House or even the Cherry Blossoms in April: Then be sure to check out Archie Bunker’s Arm Chair at the Museum of National History. It certainly put a smile on my face.
