Traveling can take it out of you and there are times that there is nothing better than being at home. Over the years, we’ve found that there is a perfect blend of traveling and that feeling like you’re home than staying in a bed and breakfast. It allows you the comforts of home and your own space, with a sense of community as well. None have blended that experience better than the owners at the Flying Frog Bed and Breakfast in Franklin, Indiana.
The house is decorated with items the owners have collected throughout their world travels but has an overwhelming Parisian feel. Offering guests beautiful rooms inspired by different locations, memory foam beds, sitting areas to work and socialize and large oversized porches to take in the surrounding area.
Each guest suite not only has their own main room and bathroom, but the guaranteed privacy while you are there, or out exploring. You can choose to be social with the other guests or enjoy time to yourself.
As is tradition with Bed and Breakfasts, you will be treated to a meal in the morning prepared by the proprietors. But unlike any other B&B we’ve visited so far, they wow’d us again and again with a three course breakfast. The meal was tailored to guests food allergies and every day we left full, happy and often didn’t need another meal until dinner.
With their thumb on the pulse of the local scene, we were directed to shops and other things in the area that would be of interest to us and even returned to our room to find evening snacks waiting. The service at the Flying Frog Bed and Breakfast is beyond what you would expect at any bed and breakfast. Their hospitality will have you wanting to return if not move in, and the breakfasts will be in your dreams for weeks to come.
Book your reservation at the Flying Frog Bed and Breakfast and explore what the area has to offer.
