We weren’t able to see it while it was in theaters, so we were happy get a copy to review in time for it’s release. The movie is based on a true story of a small-boat rescue from the U.S. Coast Guard, and shares the story of Bernie Webber.
The Finest Hours is a movie based on heroism as Bernie Webber and his crew of men head out in a turbulent sea to save over 30 men on a oil tanker damaged in a storm off of Cape Cod. The small boat is only rated for twelve men, but they’re determined to save everyone despite the weather and everything they face. It is one of the movies that will amaze you, give you chills and you will want to see again. The story has breath taking moments that make you wonder if it could have actually happened.
