In the second season of “Star Trek: Prodigy” the Protostar crew fulfills Admiral Janeway’s mission to find Captain Chakotay (Robert Beltran). Joining the regular cast are Robert Picardo as the Doctor, Wil Wheaton as Wesley Crusher, Jason Alexander as Noum, Ronny Cox as Edward Jellico, Erin Macdonald as herself, Gates McFadden as Beverly Crusher, and more. The series continues to fill in the time between “Star Trek: Nemesis” and the 2009 “Star Trek” film, eventually featuring the Romulan supernova.
