It’s time to head back to the theater for an accu-mazing good time with Pitch Perfect 3. The final movie in the series brings back all of our favorite characters like Beca, Fat Amy, Chloe, Aubrey and even Lilly. The movie starts after college is done and the a cappella group has started their lives in the real world and things aren’t going how they planned. When a chance to get back together comes up, they jump on it and it takes them on an adventure of a life time.
Like the previous movies, Pitch Perfect 3 is full of bad jokes, laughable moments and songs that will have you tapping your foot along with the beat. The movie not only plays on the connection between the girls but also shows the vulnerabilities that each of the main characters that help drive the story. It helps build some of the characters back stories and wrap up the story nicely.
Will fans of the Pitch Perfect series be happy with this movie? Yes absolutely. It is a nice escape from reality and of course has some of the over the top moments, but those are what make the movie so entertaining. If you’re a fan, definitely check this out in theaters. From the opening credits through the very end you’ll be singing along.
Stay through the end credits and you’ll be treated to behind the scene clips from all of the movies being filmed and almost a digital scrap book of the friendships formed from the cast.
