Taste Local Flavors at Your Local Kroger Store

With the market getting larger and larger, sometimes it’s nice to step back and keep your purchases local. But where do you find local products without stopping at 50 different stores? Thankfully, the Kroger stores in Michigan have made the commitment to local vendors in Michigan and often hold Taste of Local events at different locations so you can sample these great products before you purchase them.

From coffee, to pop, salad dressings, Bumpy Cakes and even energy drinks – we were introduced to several new products as well as sampled several of our favorites at the latest Take of Local event. The aisles were lined with tables with new products to sample and representatives from the company who can answer questions about their products.

With the variety of produce in the state and the wide agricultural selection it’s easy to find products that are made close to home. Hand ground corn chips from 313 Urban Chips, Coffee Roasted in the city by Detroit Bold and don’t forget Michigan Bee Honey, our state offers delicious options for any diet, and you can find them at your local Kroger store.

You can find out more information about all of these products and where they are available on Kroger’s Website. If you can’t find the information let us know and we will see if we can track down the product you want to try for you!
