Aladdin is the story that captivated our hearts as kids and we’re ready to head back to Agrabah with a new live action version being released this spring.
While we wish that Robin Williams was available for the role of the Genie, his very large shoes are being by Will Smith – pretty much the only person we could imagine being able to deliver the comedy and timing needed for the role. We’re excited to see this new adaptation and how the Genie is going to be brought to life.
Earlier this week, Disney released a new TV spot that not only gives us a better look at Genie, but we finally get to see him blue. You can watch the spot below and make sure you mark you calendars for May!
