Subscription Services You Need to Sign Up For

Subscription Services You Need Today

We’re spending a lot more hours inside and because of that, some of our much needed supplies are getting low. But thankfully, even before the self isolation began, there were great subscription services you could sign up and get just what you need delivered right to your door. We’ve been taking advantage of many of these services for a long time, and since we don’t know how long we will be staying in – will continue to use them as well.

This isn’t about the subscription boxes we get that are full of Funko Pops and other things, but more the necessities we need day in and day out.

Imperfect Foods

Not looking forward to running to the grocery store or noticing that the shelves are surprisingly low on produce and need something to change up your meal time? Imperfect Foods is perfect for that. We first started using them when they came out and offered the “ugly” fruits and veggies. They may have a blemish here and there, and not as pretty as grocery stores would want them to be – but they taste great and work great in recipes.

Over the past few months we’ve noticed that the produce name dropped from the company and was replaced with Foods. And with that change came low prices on meats, dairy (and non dairy) products. Allergen friendly options, candy and this wonderful thing called Coffee Spread!? You can customize what comes in your box every week, or change up how often it gets delivered. But Imperfect may become one of your favorite ways to shop right now.

Get fresh produce, dry goods and more delivered to your front door – and save $10 off your first order!

Harry’s

I’m going to be brutally honest – I haven’t bought a razor at the store in years, and I don’t buy them if they’re branded for women. Instead, I’ve been stealing blades from my boyfriend’s subscription to Harry’s Razors! Not only are the handles more substantial, but the five blade heads work great. If you want to skip the froo froo lotion heads that do nothing but clog up before you use them more than a couple times, and want a great shave – Harry’s has you covered.

But don’t think that Harry’s is just razors, they also offer soaps, body wash, bags and even hair products to keep you clean and stylish all at the same time.

Use this link to sign up for a Harry’s subscription, and you’ll save $5 off your next order.

Winc

You can’t judge a book by its cover, but can you judge a wine by it’s label? I’m not completely sure – but one of the things I absolutely love about my WINC subscription is trying out wines with fun names and labels. I’m really looking forward to trying out Debts and Lessons when it gets here in a week or two!

When you first sign up for WINC you take a wine taste profile test – and they show you the best paired wines for you. You can get the ones they suggest or shop around and try new ones out. Each month they load your account with more “credits” to get 3 bottles of wine, you can pick and choose the ones you want or let WINC choose for you! Add a 4th bottle and get free shipping. Feeling generous? You can always gift wine to a friend or loved one so you can have a virtual wine tasting together!

Grocery Delivery Services

Even if you’re not high risk – going to the grocery store is something that causes a lot of anxiety right now. What exactly is safe to do, and what isn’t is still a bit up in the air. But even before their systems were overwhelmed, we’ve been signed up for grocery delivery services. They free up much needed time, and really reduce the amount of impulse buying. I spent most of 2018 on crutches for one reason or another, so the idea of pushing a cart through the grocery store was not appealing to me.

But now more than ever we rely on shopping services. Not only do the services allow people to stay safely at home, but you can use it for a variety of stores. In our area Shipt only covers a handful of stores like Meijer, CVS, Petsmart and Target so we also use Instacart to shop at Kroger, Aldi, Fresh Thyme, Costco and so many more. Your shopper will text any issues they have with the order and you will be able to get most of what you need with out a problem.

In a time where finding an online delivery slot is a competitive sport, we’ve found that the Instacart Fast and Flexible shopping option (on their premium service) is absolutely worth it. We get our delivery the next day and have stayed fully stocked!

Both services require signing up for a subscription or paying a delivery fee, but with the subscription as long as your order is over $35 (which is surprisingly easy to do) you don’t pay any additional fees!

Sign up for Shipt and save $10 off your annual membership ($89 vs $99!)

Sign up for Instacart and have your groceries brought right to you!
