My schedule seems to be getting worse lately, and with the holiday season sneaking up on us, I don’t think that’s going to get any better. Besides blogging, I’ve been pulling extra hours at work and heading to events in the evenings after. Long days and late nights mean that my morning starts early with a cup of tea or coffee. Thankfully, I was sent a large box of Corner Donut Shop coffee by Brooklyn Bean Roastery to try out and keep me moving each morning.
Since I’m the only coffee drinker in the house, I still heavily rely on our single cup brewer. I haven’t had a name brand Keurig for a couple years, but love my single cup brewer. That means any coffee pods I get have to work with a standard Kcup brewer set up (not a 2.0). The Brooklyn Bean Roastery pods fit perfectly in my brewer and the bottoms pierced perfectly without any problems.
When brewing a cup of the Corner Donut Shop coffee the first thing you notice is the warm smell of the coffee. The medium roast is full of flavor and as it brews you can almost taste how good it will be. The coffee is bold even without having to adjust the strength, and you can taste that the grounds were sealed fresh, and they’re not instant coffee.
All of the Corner Donut Shop coffee is 100% Arabica beans. Even without adding sugar or cream to the cup, I was met with a warm cup of coffee full of flavor. A cup of coffee and a bit of caffeine to get the day started. I get to save time from running to pick up coffee at the shop, and brew some great flavored coffee at home, one cup at a time.
