When getting ready for any party, I always feel rushed. There doesn’t seem to be enough time to get everything ready. From desserts, to the meal and even appetizers seem to take a huge amount of time. Thankfully, this year Architec Housewares sent us one of their 5 Minute Stackable Appetizer Makers. It makes it quick and easy to make delicious appetizer, or desserts for any part you’re having.
The Architect Housewares 5 Minute Stackable Appetizer Maker comes in one small box, with four pieces that all fit together. The form and base easily separate, and the top pressing bar also has a cutting mechanism inside, so no extra tools are needed. All you have to provide are the ingredients to make whatever you want!
For our first round I decided to make a creamy ham sandwich stack. Hindsight is 20/20 and I’d probably add in some tomatoes and spinach when I make this again. But they’re still pretty yummy, and will be great at our parties this weekend.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 loaf of gluten free bread -slices cut in half (Approximately 8 slices)
- 8 oz of Cream Cheese
- 1/4 tsp White Pepper
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Dried Dill
- Ham Lunch Meat
Directions:
Step 1: Lay down your first layer of your bread pieces. Use your presser bar and flatten them as much as possible.
Step 2: In a medium bowl soften your cream cheese in the microwave for 30 seconds. Add in your dill, pepper and garlic and mix together.
With a spoon spread the cream cheese mixture on top of your flattened bread pieces.
Step 3: Place a layer of ham on top of the cream cheese spread and place another layer of bread on top.
With your pressing bar flatten your sandwich again.
Step 4: Repeat steps 1-3 until your have a total of three inner layers of cheese and ham, ending with bread on top. Using your pressing bar on top each time compressing your sandwich.
With the enclosed cutting bar (in the bottom of the pressing bar) in the sits in the form and cut your appetizer into slices.
Once all of your appetizers are cut into 1 inch slices you can easily lift the base out and place it down to plate your appetizers!
The Stackable Appetizer maker was extremely easy to use, and I was surprised at how nice and professional the end results are! While I want to work with the more recipes to try this out more, I think it’d be great to make a great bite site goodies for all of our future parties. And when your’e done, it’s easy to wash up by hand or in the dishwasher.
