Here’s an example: Yesterday I ran to the bank to make a deposit of a small check. It’s not much, wont buy much but it’ll do better in the bank than in my wallet. Money is always a worry for me. But when I received my deposit receipt back there was also a little extra in the tube – candy canes. A small gift from the bank, but they made me smile and seriously made my day. Remember, it’s not always about big things that can change someone’s attitude or day around.
To honor the lives lost there has been a Twitter campaign launched using the hashtag #26ActsofKindness, one for each life lost. Let’s make this our goal for the rest of the holiday season, the rest of the year and beyond. Let’s not forget what happened and spread love through world to remember those lost.
Do a small thing today that could change the rest of the day for someone. It will help get you and them in the holiday spirit. It could be as small as opening the door for someone, buying them a cup of coffee or helping get something off the shelf. Small things will build up and the movement, and goodwill will spread.
Happy Holidays everyone!
This is a great idea!!
