Charm bracelets have been way to express your style and bits of yourself for decades, if not longer, now. But because they’re such a personal item, they can get very expensive. I’ve always loved the look of charm bracelets, but never started one of mine own because the prices of each charm means it can take years to build it up. That was until I was introduced to Soufeel Jewelry, and they sent me a bracelet, as well as a few beads to get started.
When the bracelet arrived from Soufeel, it came with a gift box, gift bag as well as the pieces I had selected. Each piece was individually wrapped inside the gift box and packaged so they would stay beautiful until they arrived at our home. If you were giving the charms as a gift, you could unpackage them for a better presentation – but since this was for me, I left them as they came.
To get started on my own charm bracelet, I was sent a 23 cm (just over 9 inches) sterling silver bracelet and four charms. I usually have a hard time finding bracelets big enough for my wrists that are 8 inches, so I was surprised that not only was this one loose, but fit quite comfortably. And for my charm, I selected a sterling silver elephant for good luck, a red suit case for all of the traveling I do, the industrial bee charm for my bee keeping and a Wanderlust charm for my love and desire to travel.
Probably one of my favorite things about the bracelet itself, without the charms on it that is, is the closure. It may sound silly, but I don’t like always having to ask for help to put my jewelry on. Other bracelets I have make it pretty much impossible to close yourself. The Soufeel bracelet has a magnetic closure that you can open easily with your nail, and snaps securely to close. To get the bracelet closed around your wrist, just slide the tip portion of the end in and snap the closure with your fingers. The only downside of this closure is when you open it, you have to be sure to hold the lose end of the bracelet. Failure to do this could result in your charms flying everywhere, and if you are near a sink – some may and could go down the drain.
The overall design of the bracelet is great for any standard charms. It will easily accommodate charms from Pandora or Chamilla bracelets, and your charms are also exchangeable with the other brands bracelets. The Soufeel charms are made out of high quality sterling silver, and will match any set you already have.
Soufeel has some great deals on their site, even though they are already cheaper than their leading competitors. They offer free shipping on all orders world wide over $50. It was hard to narrow down the perfect charms for me, but I’m extremely happy with the ones I selected.
While each of the beads I selected is beautiful and well made. Probably my favorite would be the industrial bee charm. It’s a dangling charm, and unlike some of the others its more than just a little bit of silver and enamel. The crystal for the body of the bee picks up the light well and glitters as you wear it. It’s an eye catching piece and a beautiful addition to my bracelet.
Since I now I have a charm bracelet started, it’ll be time to get new additions to add to it to fill the bracelet up.
