Every day I seem to be running around non-stop, which doesn’t always leave time to make dinner. Thankfully, I have my slow cooker on hand. Last week as I ran around getting ready to go to work, I knew I had a few minutes to throw something in the slow cooker and dinner would be waiting for me when I got back. I wanted something that would stick to my ribs, and honey barbecue chicken sounded fantastic! I used some of the Stubbs Sticky Sweet Barbecue sauce they sent me to try out, and they were perfect! I just came home, made side dishes and dinner was done!
Ingredients:
- 2 lbs of chicken, you can use boneless skinless or boned.
- 1 cup Stubbs Sticky Sweet Barbecue Sauce
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1/4 cup gluten free Soy Sauce
- 4 Tbsp Butter, melted
- Salt
- Pepper
Directions:
- Place your chicken in your slow cooker.
- In a small bowl mix together your barbecue sauce, honey, soy sauce, butter and salt and pepper. Pour evenly over your chicken. I tend to flip it and spread it on both sides.
- Cook on high for 5 hours or low for 8.
- Cut and serve
It’s really that easy! I even placed the chicken breasts in frozen and they came out great!
