With holiday parties coming up, it gets hard being gluten free. The parties will include delicious looking food, from baked goods to snacks and even meat balls. As delicious as it all sounds, most you wont be able to have safely. Thankfully this year I was sent a great alternative to use in my recipes! Cooked Perfect makes a mean gluten free meatball, and they work with any of your traditional recipes, from baking, in a pan or your slow cooker.
The Cooked Perfect Gluten Free Meatballs are made with all safe ingredients, from spices to bread crumbs. While they’re Italian style, I found they worked in several different recipes. Not only do they have the perfect texture but flavor to be used in any of the holiday recipes.
While it may seem weird, I used the Italian Style Meatballs in a Swedish Meatball recipe. They worked perfectly – and now everyone else can pick up theirs at Ikea and I will have my own!
Cooked Perfect makes several products that are not gluten free as well as the gluten free meatball. You can find Cooked Perfect products at stores near you.
This recipe is super easy, serve it over rice, potatoes or pasta and you’ll have a quick and easy meal this holiday season!
Ingredients:
- 1 package Cooked Perfect Gluten Free Meatballs
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp Chopped Garlic
- 1 10 oz box of fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup Water
- 8 oz Sour Cream
- 2 tbsp White Rice flour
- 1/4 tsp fresh cracked pepper
Directions:
- Add all of your ingredients in your slow cooker, mix to combine.
- Cook on low for 6-8 Hours.
- Enjoy!
