Skylander Trap Team Review
What do you do when all of the villains in Skylands break out of prison? You join Trap Team and help the Skylanders trap them again! That’s the new premise of Skylanders Trap Team, and you can join the fight when you get the new game and starter kit! Activision sent us a set for Xbox 360 to play with and experience the new adventures we can have in Skyland.

Skylander Trap Team Review

Even though I grew up in the 80’s and playing video games, I’m not exactly good at them. However, the first time I played Skylanders a couple years ago I fell in love. We got a copy of the game and it’s one that I feel like I can play and not struggle with. We have a large collection of Skylanders, so my first concern was if the characters would actually with the new set. All of the new Skylander sets that come out are backward compatible, so my characters wont collect dust, but instead can play in the new adventure.

Skylander Trap Team Review

The Skylanders Trap Team starter set comes with everything you need to start playing if you don’t already have a collection of characters on your shelf. It has a new portal that has a place for the crystal (that is what the villains are going to be trapped), and even has the jail where you’re sending them. When you catch them and insert their crystals you’ll actually hear them yelling to be let out of jail.

The new Skylanders set is a lot of fun to play. Like it’s predecessors it is interactive, has lights and sound not just in the game, but on the portal as well.  It’s rated for ages 10 and up, but I know Goonie can play it without a problem. The starter kit is only around $50, and comes with everything you need. Check around for Black Friday deals – there are some with extra characters and everything your Skylander lover would want!
