If you’re like our family, you may have gotten the notice to work at home this week (if you’re lucky enough to be able to do that). We’re all looking at the possibility that we may be home with our loved ones a lot more than usual until things settle down. So what the heck are we going to do? Chances are we’re going to rely on our streaming services to help us get through the long days and find new shows we want to binge.
We’re looking ahead at what shows you’re going to want to watch and put on the calendar. Thankfully Netflix has a lot of great shows coming our way in the next couple of months. Feel Good – Season 1
Feel Good stars Mae Martin as Mae, a rising talent on the stand-up circuit and recovering addict whose addictive behaviors and intense romanticism dominate every single part of her life. When she meets pragmatic – but so far heterosexual – George (Charlotte Ritchie) she’s smitten, and much to her surprise George feels the same. They embark on an intoxicating romance as Mae juggles relationships with her parents, fellow addicts in a drugs support group, her colleagues at the local stand up club, and most importantly tries to transform her relationship with George from an addictive one to a healthy one. But the real question is can Mae replace a toxic addiction to love with love itself. Feel Good is a deeply personal, dark but hilarious story about two young people navigating the modern-day landscape of love, addiction, and sexuality – and trying to form a meaningful and lasting connection.

Tiger King: Murder Mayhem and Madness
Among the eccentrics and cult personalities in the stranger-than-fiction world of big cat owners, few stand out more than Joe Exotic, a mulleted, gun-toting polygamist and country western singer who presides over an Oklahoma roadside zoo. Charismatic but misguided, Joe and an unbelievable cast of characters including drug kingpins, conmen, and cult leaders all share a passion for big cats, and the status and attention their dangerous menageries garner. But things take a dark turn when Carole Baskin, an animal activist and owner of a big cat sanctuary, threatens to put them out of business, stoking a rivalry that eventually leads to Joe’s arrest for a murder-for-hire plot, and reveals a twisted tale where the only thing more dangerous than a big cat is its owner.

Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker

The Letter for the King

Brews Brothers – Season 1
Brews Brothers follows two estranged brothers, Wilhelm (Alan Aisenberg) and Adam Rodman (Mike Castle), who find themselves running a brewery together. Each one is a beer genius… a braumeister, but they couldn’t be more different in their beer-making techniques and personalities. A lot of times in a show you see two people who complete each other. These two don’t even make a full person.
Chris D’Elia: No Pain
Stand-up comic, actor, writer, and host of the Congratulations podcast, Chris D’Elia returns for his latest Netflix comedy special, Chris D’Elia: No Pain. Though he may not be your average comedian, living a straight-edge lifestyle with parents who are there for him, D’Elia still finds time to growl at babies in public, AirDrop inappropriate photos to unsuspecting people on airplanes, and warn others on the potential threat of sexual assault by dolphins (Google it). Filmed in front of a live audience at the State Theater in Minneapolis, Chris D’Elia: No Pain premieres globally on Netflix on April 14, 2020.

The Hollow – Season 1
Perplexing mystery awaits viewers in the new animated-action series, The Hollow, a Slap Happy Cartoons Inc. production.
