Series Reboots You Should Totally Check Out

Doesn’t it seem like every older show we loved is coming back? This past year was huge for reboots and we have a few new ones coming as well. With the talks of a True Blood reboot in the works, we had to share some of our absolute favorite reboots that you need to check out. How I Met Your Father is coming soon, but the rest are currently streaming on networks you can find them. We’re happy to see some familiar faces on the screen again, and meet some new ones along the way!

Dexter: New Blood – Showtime

How I met Your Father – Hulu

In the near future, Sophie (Hilary Duff) is telling her son the story of how she met his father: a story that catapults us back to the year 2021 where Sophie and her close-knit group of friends are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how to fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options. 

“How I Met Your Father” premieres exclusively on Hulu Tuesday, January 18, 2022.

CSI: Vegas – Paramount+

Facing an existential threat that could bring down the entire crime lab and release thousands of convicted killers back onto the neon-lit streets of Las Vegas, a brilliant new team of investigators led by Maxine Roby must enlist the help of old friends Gil Grissom, Sara Sidle and David Hodges. This combined force will deploy the latest forensic techniques to do what they do best — follow the evidence — in order to preserve and serve justice in Sin City. While there have been numerous spin-offs within the “CSI” franchise, this will serve as the series’ first sequel.

And Just Like That – HBO Max

In the MAX Original Series “And Just Like That…,” old pals Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte transition from the friendship they had in their 30s to a more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.

Friends Reunion – HBO Max

“Friends” cast members Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer return to the show’s original soundstage for a celebration of the sitcom filled with memories, laughter, tears, and special guests.

Fresh Prince Reunion – HBO Max

Will Smith and the rest of the cast members reunite on the set of the show’s living room set for a look back at all six seasons of the TV series, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”

While this came out in the winter of 2020, be on the look out for a Fresh Prince reboot on Peacock in 2022
