As our fall and witner series are going on hiatus for the summer, it’s time to find a new show (or three to watch). Hulu has announced a long list of series that is coming to the streaming network and you can see what shows you’ll have to watch and catch up on now.
We Were the Lucky Ones (NOW STREAMING)
Based on Georgia Hunter’s New York Times bestselling novel, the television adaptation of “We Were the Lucky Ones” is a limited series inspired by the incredible true story of one Jewish family separated at the start of WWII. UFO Factory (NOW STREAMING)
“UFO Factory” follows Dalí, a waiter whose cultish boss believes in extraterrestrial life, that following a call returns to Ogarrio del Cobre, an old and abandoned mining town where his father and grandfather used to live, in order to collect an inheritance that will presumably solve his life problems. When Dalí realizes that the town is in bankruptcy due to a huge debt the residents have with the government that seeks to modernize it, he decides to reactivate its economy turning it into a tourist destination in a unique way: reviving an old story regarding UFO landings in the area. With a mayor leading a campaign to reclaim the lands of Ogarrio, a corrupt official and the locals’ distrust about the outlandish plan, Dalí will have to work against all odds in order to save Ogarrio del Cobre and give back to its residents the home they deserve by making a UFO that will save everyone provided they work as a team.
The Fable (Now Streaming)
Adapted from the best-selling manga The Fable by Katsuhisa Minami and published by KODANSHA Ltd. – the series follows a legendary hitman called “Fable” who has spent his entire life training to become the world’s best assassin. GO! GO! Loser Ranger! (Now Streaming)
An anime adaptation of the hit Kodansha Ltd. manga of the same name by Negi Haruba, “Go! Go! Loser Ranger!” follows an invading Monster Army who attacked Earth over thirteen years ago. Mission: Yozakura Family (Now Streaming)
“Mission: Yozakura Family” is an upcoming battle Shonen/comedy TV anime about a family of spies, based on the popular “Shonen Jump” manga series, written and illustrated by Hitsuji Gondaira and published by Shueisha. SILVER LINK. is animating the anime adaptation.

Blood Free – Premiering April 10th

Under the Bridge – Premiering April 17th
Under the Bridge” is based on acclaimed author Rebecca Godfrey’s book about the 1997 true story of fourteen-year old Reena Virk (Vritika Gupta) who went to join friends at a party and never returned home. Through the eyes of Godfrey (Riley Keough) and a local police officer (Lily Gladstone), the series takes us into the hidden world of the young girls accused of the murder — revealing startling truths about the unlikely killer.
See You in Another Life – Premiering April 17th
This 6-episode scripted series is the adaptation of the book by Manuel Jabois “Nos vemos en esta vida o en la otra”, which is based on the interview that Gabriel Montoya Vidal, “Baby,” gave him in 2014 about his link to the biggest jihadist attack committed on European soil on March 11th, 2004. In that year, Baby was a 16-year-old teenager who participated in the transfer of the explosives that would be used in Madrid on March 11. Baby was the first person convicted of the attacks. His testimony was key in the macro-trial that took place in 2007.
High Hopes – Premiering April 20th
“High Hopes” is a workplace reality series following Belarus-born brothers Slava and Mishka, and their stoned crew through the trials and tribulations of taking their cannabis business to new heights. As one of the oldest cannabis dispensaries in Hollywood, MMD attracts a wild mix of weed-loving customers and is a home away from home for their OG employees who work hard and smoke harder! This season builds to their biggest day of the year—4.20—as the gang attempts to expand nationwide and release their own top-shelf cannabis brand. Will they find what they’re looking for or will their hopes go up in smoke?
Wonderful World – Premiering April 24th
A successful psychology professor and renowned author, Soohyun enjoys a perfect life, but when she loses her son unjustly, she takes matters into her own hands by confronting the perpetrator. Shardlake – May
Drenched in mystery, suspense and deception, this four-part drama, based on the first novel in C.J. Sansom’s internationally popular Tudor murder mystery series, is an eerie whodunnit adventure, set in 16th century England during the dissolution of the monasteries. Shardlake’s sheltered life as a lawyer is turned upside down when Cromwell instructs him to investigate the murder of one of his commissioners at a monastery in the remote town of Scarnsea. The commissioner was gathering evidence to close the monastery and it is now imperative for Cromwell’s own political survival that Shardlake both solves the murder and closes the monastery. He leaves Shardlake in no doubt that failure is not an option. Cromwell insists that he is accompanied by Jack Barak to Scarnsea, where the duo are met with hostility, suspicion and paranoia by the monks who fear for their future and will seemingly stop at nothing to preserve their order.
