LeapFrog Scout's Build and Discover Tool Set Review

LeapFrog Scout's Build and Discover Tool Set ReviewWhen Goonie was little his best friend was Scout, he took him everywhere with him and he’s probably still in his toy box. Scout is still one of our favorite characters from LeapFrog, and we were excited to see his new Build and Discover Tool Set in our LeapFrog ambassador box this month. Not only is the set full of bright colors, but can help your toddler age child learn how to use tools, hand eye coordination as well as counting.

LeapFrog Scout's Build and Discover Tool Set ReviewScout’sĀ Build and Discover Tool Set comes with a tool box as well as five different tools for your kids to learn how to use. Inside the tool set is a screw driver, a wrench, a hammer, a ruler and a saw. Each tool is color coordinated with a fastener on the tool box so your child can learn which color goes with which tool and motion.

LeapFrog Scout's Build and Discover Tool Set ReviewThe tool box is shaped on the sides like a dog house, you see, it’s actually Scout’s house! It unfolds to reveal the inside of the house. This allows your child to discover the house inside, and helps Scout introduce your child to the amount of fasteners in his house and helps them relate to it. The Build and Discover tool set helps your child learn how to count, recognize colors, use tools and more with the songs and prompts used during play.

LeapFrog Scout's Build and Discover Tool Set ReviewWe love Scout’s Build and Discover Tool Set and how it’s made sturdy for little hands to play with and to hang onto. It can take a beating, and can handle several kids playing with it at once. And when your child is done playing with the tool box, all the tools store neatly inside. As an added bonus, there is a full volume control on the front of the tool box, which also allows you to turn off the toy to save battery. It’s a lot of fun to play with, and we love that it has our favorite Scout encouraging kids to learn more through play.
