It’s starting to warm up outside, but that doesn’t mean I’ve packed away all of my cold weather gear yet. Actually, one pair of boots I got to review are still in my regular rotation, the are my Chukka Shearling Boots from Sandgrens. To call them boots, well that’s not really what I see them as, they’re fashionable shoes that work for every day use as well as dressing up!
Sandgrens Clogs come from Sweden, they’re hand fashioned and quality made. Not only is the style Sandgrens has different, but they take traditional practices and put them in modern style. What do I mean? The soles are completely wood – just like clogs.
I’m going to be honest, we’re all use to super soft soles in our shoes, we’re a bit pampered. So when you first put on wooden clogs your feet may not be like working with just wood as a base. But I’ve found not only do your feet get use to it, it’s really comfortable and supportive! Your first couple times wearing the clogs may not be the most comfortable, but they will quickly become your new favorites.
The Chukka Shearlings are considered boots, but they only come up to the ankle. I love wearing them with skirts or even jeans. They not only look chic, but add that finishing touch to your outfits.
They are not only supportive to your feet, but I found they had great traction on the ice. They will be great when it finally warms up enough to wear with some of my spring outfits. They don’t look like my stocky winter boots so I can wear them well into the spring and even in the fall.
Sandgrens has a great selection of boots, clogs and sandals and have options for everyone. Their construction means they’ll last for years to come too. I love the handmade quality and individuality of each design they have.
