World of Wonder and Voss Events today announced the Werq The World News (WTWN 10), the tenth anniversary edition of the world’s largest touring drag production is coming to Detroit’s Fisher Theatre Wednesday, April 7, 2027. Tuning in across 50 cities throughout the United States and Canada, the tour marks a decade of Werq The World and reimagines the touring franchise as a live broadcast event, a primetime variety hour where the news desk meets the main stage. Anchoring the tour is RuPaul’s Drag Race fan favorite Asia O’Hara, stepping into the role of lead anchor, the Anchorma’am of Channel 10! Guiding audiences through breaking segments, special reports, and field correspondence from a rotating roster of Drag Race superstars includingAsia O’Hara, Vanessa Vanjie, Jorgeous, Latrice Royale, Daya Betty, and Shannel.
