room on the broom giveaway
About the Room on the Broom App:

The new Room on the Broom Games interactive app is available through the iTunes store for iPad, iPad Mini, iPhone and iPod Touch; and on GooglePlay and Amazon for Android devices, priced at $4.99.

Julia Donaldson comments, “When Magic Light first mentioned to me the idea of producing a game offering children a different way to engage with the Room on the Broom characters, I was confident that they would produce another beautiful high-quality product to sit alongside their films and merchandise. The games have been especially designed to echo traditional children’s games of observation and memory and are a lovely addition to the world of Room on the Broom.” She adds, ” My own favourites are feeding fries to the dragon and creating constellations of stars!”

Axel Scheffler added,  “I’m delighted to see how my original artwork has been used to create such beautifully produced games that give children the opportunity to explore the world of Room on the Broom in a whole new way.”

  1. I think my older two may trick or treat with their grandparents. Our plans are actually for Nov 1st, since it is a Friday, so no bedtime constraints. We are having a little party at our house for the kids. Halloween themed food, games, decorations, and movies. So excited!

  2. We are looking for my sons costume (he’s 3 and a half so this is his first year that he’s really into it.) I am planning on adding spiderwebs, purple and orange lights as well as some other outdoor decorations.

  3. We have the “scary house” in the neighborhood and we get ready starting in August. We make props, customize soundtracks based on the year’s theme and get the costumes ready among other things.

  4. We already set up for Halloween by putting our “floating” ghost on our porch that moves back in forth with a black light in our porch light that makes him glow. And we have a wreath on our door, a boo sign in our house, and stickies on the door window:)

  5. We decorated the house a couple of weeks ago. I just bought some candy corn lights to add to the decorations. I love how they look.

  6. Right now I’m decorating the house and trying to finish getting a costume done for the girl I babysit! I’ve still got to get my candy! Thanks!

  7. we have already bought our candy to hand out, and one of the kids costumes, as soon as the other 2 decide I will get theirs as well

  8. I’m starting to decorate for Halloween. I have my pumpkin carved and a Halloween tablecloth on the table and today I bought some trick or treat candy. I still have more decorations to unpack. Thanks.
