I was given the chance to go see The Odd Life of Timothy Green last week, and I’m glad that I did. I had seen a couple previews about the movie – but honestly didn’t know too much about it. My sister is one of the long list of people who can’t wait to see it, so I went in with high expectations. My boyfriend, however didn’t know anything about the movie! He agreed to go with me – without even seeing a preview, and he didn’t know what to expect.
The movie is very touching, and at points very sad. The movie is rated PG since there isn’t major violence, cussing or anything you wouldn’t want your children to see. However, I personally don’t think it’d be a good movie for small children. That being said, a young girl about 6 sat next to me during the viewing and like the movie – so it of course will depend on the child!
Despite the sad parts in the movie, there are also some really funny parts. My boyfriend continued to laugh through the whole movie. It is a truly heart warming and relateable movie.
The movie features great actors like Jennifer Gardener and Joel Edgerton. And Timothy Green is played by CJ Adams – a young actor who can melt your heart.
We both really enjoyed the movie, and would recommend it to our family and friends. Check below for Summer activities, movie times and where to find The Odd Life of Timothy Green online! Check it out at a theater near you!
