When doing laundry I love when my clothes come out smelling fresh and clean. But a lot of the different brands of fresheners use harsh chemicals which aren’t good for sensitive skin. And they definitely wouldn’t be good for use on your clothes or towels for your baby.

Purex has come out with a new laundry Crystals product that is not only safe to use for your babies sensitive skin – it smells great! Their New Purex Crystals for Baby is hypoallergenic, dye free and uses natural materials. You wont be putting harsh chemicals near your sensitive skin or your baby! It comes in a convenient bottle with a lid that is also used for measuring what you need for each load. Each bottle has enough for 32 loads of laundry.

When using the Purex Crystals for Baby I noticed a couple of things – I didn’t need as much as the measuring cup suggested. I only filled to the small load line even when doing large loads of laundry. The smell was fantastic and our clothes came out great when using it. It leaves a soft sent on your clothes and towels and you can smell it working when your clothes are in the dryer.

The only negative thing I have to say about the Purex Crystals for Baby is some of the crystals didn’t always dissolve. This is probably because I run the machine on cold cycles when doing laundry, and it needed a bit warmer water to dissolve. It only happened a couple times and I was able to shake off the extra crystals before putting the clothes in the dryer. It still worked great! Just keep this in mind if you like to use the cold cycle like I do.

I use a bit of this in my homemade laundry detergent, we have several kiddos with eczema. The baby formula sounds great.
