What good are super hero toys if they can’t fly anyhow? We know most super heroes fly or swing thru the air with easy, and while imagination is great – sometimes a new way to get your toy moving is fun as well! Imperial Toys has launched a new toy line Power Poppers that will get your favorite Marvel Characters into small, popping toys.
Imperial Toys sent us two of their new Power Poppers – both Spider-man and Iron Man. The line currently has four characters available including The Hulk and Captain America. Each character comes is designed out of a harder foam toy and a named base that seconds as a launch pad. While each of the Power Poppers is foam, when you first look at them they don’t look very soft, but you can can actually push in the sides with a little pressure.
The pedestal that each of the Power Poppers is actually the trigger that helps launch it up to 6 feet in the air. The base of each of the Power Poppers helps push the trigger inside of the body and keeps the button on the base out that will send your Popper flying. You can get the trigger inside the body without the base but it is harder to do than using the base.
To get your Power Popper to launch and fly through the air you first have to set the trigger to go, then drop it from a few inches away to see your Power Popper fly up to 6 feet up. I love the look of the Power Poppers, but to actually get them to fly can be harder than you think. You have to drop the Power Poppers directly on the button on the bottom. You can drop them a couple times and actually not hit the button. But when you do – they fly through the air and will bounce off the ceiling and around the room. Just be careful not to use them near anything breakable or shoot them at someone’s face!
Our Power Poppers are standing on guard and ready to fly on a shelf, because even if they don’t fly all of the time they still look pretty cool! On their named bases, our Power Poppers look like great statues of our favorite characters.
