Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers Recipe

  • 3 large Green Bell peppers
  • 1 large Onion
  • 6 ounces White Button Mushrooms
  • 1 lb thinly sliced Roast Beef
  • 1/2 lb sliced Provalone Cheese
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tbsp Garlic Paste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Directions:

  1. In a large skillet add your olive oil, butter, garlic paste, salt and pepper. Put over warm heat .
  2. Thinly slice your onions and mushrooms and add to your hot skillet. Saute until they start to brown. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
  4. Line a cookie sheet with tin foil and spray it with cooking spray.
  5. Cut your peppers in half the long way, remove the ribs and the seeds. Place o your pan.
  6. In the bottom of each pepper place a slice of cheese and 2-3 pieces of roast beef on top.  Scoop your onion mixture on top of each pepper until full.
  7. Top each pepper with 1 more pace of cheese.
  8. Bake 20 minutes until your cheese bubbles and starts to brown.
