With the surge of subscription boxes, there is one for pretty much every type of market out there. You can find boxes filled with makeup, jewelry, junk food, candy and yes – even artisan made products. If you appreciate handmade, small batch products that aren’t filled with junk, it’s time to meet Prospurly. Like other subscription boxes, Prospurly comes just once a month but according to their website the box is “packed full of organic, small-batch & artisan-crafted goods that inspire a happy, whole and prosperous life.”
We were sent the January box from Prospurly to check it out, and see just what was inside. Each month, Prospurly adds in 6-8 Artisan made products for you to try out. They may be snacks, health and beauty, or even household products. The average value of the boxes is around $80, all in all, not bad for a box that costs you only $50 a month. And if you add in the code: Butterfly – you will save 10% for life! There’s no expiration on that code, which is actually pretty awesome.
When the Prospurly box first arrived – I noticed the stuffing was coming out of the sides of the box a little. Thankfully this was just the recycled paper crinkles to keep everything inside safe and in place. I could immediately smell a strong scent of lavender too. Once I opened the box found a set of affirmation cards to help you explore, make clearer choices, be kind and believe in yourself. The cards came bundled with a cute string a package and with a Faber-Castell mechanical pencil so you can fill in your intentions. The box also had an 8 oz package of Lavendar Vegan Laundry Soap (16-32 loads worth) by Handmade la Conner, Spice Chai+ Coconut Lip Balm by Fawn Lily Botanica, Chamomile & Euphoria Gourmet Honey Elixer by Barefoot Apothecary, Geranium + Argan Oil Facial Serum from Fawn Lily Botanica and Detox Foot Soak from Blythe Market.
The focus of the January Propurly box is “A New Adventure”, with a new year comes a new goal and the items inside are suppose to help you set your goals for health, exploration and the experiences coming in the new year. Besides the initial stuffing coming out of the side, everything was well packaged and smells fantastic. I loved the variety inside the box, and that each had the companies website on the packaging so if we love the products we can always order more. We’re huge fans of the subscription box movement, and I absolutely love one filled with good for you body products. Prospurly allows you to try out new natural products without having to search them out – you never know when you’ll be on the hunt for Honey Elixer, but it’s so much easier to find good for you products when they show up at your home.
