As exciting as school can be for all of us, sometimes the change can be a little scary. Will they like their new teacher? Will they make new friends?
The book tells the story of Sweet Pea Sue who is afraid of a picture of an Octopus from a book and is having problems falling asleep. An adventure with the Pajanimals to the sea introduces her to Ellie – a REAL octopus! She finds out that Ellie is just as afraid of her as she is of octopus. The who talk it out and find that there is nothing to be afraid of and little difference can actually make two animals pretty good friends!
As always we loved the Pajanimals stories and how relate-able it is for small children. It is the perfect book to help explain that people from different backgrounds can become some of your best friends. What a great book to kick off the school year with!
