Ozeri Nouveaux Wine Bottle Opener
Recently, I’ve decided that if I’m sent an electronic item, that I want to try to use it – without using the directions. Now, this can turn out to be disastrous or great depending on the product. So when Ozeri sent me their new Nouveaux Electric Wine Bottle Opener I was excited to try it out. Previously I have reviewed their Prestige Wine Bottle Opener and love it. It works fantastic and is extremely easy to use.

The first thing I noticed about the Nouveaux was that it’s layout was different, it had removeable parts, no base, and it lights up. Ozeri Nouveaux Wine Bottle OpenerWhen the Nouveaux arrived I instantly attached the charger and let it charge overnight. It needs 12 hours initially. Which, while that seems like a lot – that will last through 80 bottle openings! If you’re throwing a huge party, it wont run out in the middle of it.

As I mentioned before, it doesn’t have a base, instead it stands on the clear acrylic opening that goes over the throat of the wine bottle. The inner cylinder lights up with blue LEDs – I have to admit, it doesn’t just look cool, it’s fun to play with!

While in other models they came with a foil cutter, the Nouveaux has one built in. You simply remove the top of the Nouveaux, place it over the top of the foil, pinch the sides and rotate. It’s quick and easy to remove the foil and it will eliminate any sharp edges to cut yourself on.

The Nouveaux also comes with a wine spout/aerator that also works as the wine stop. You can remove the center using the loop and simple pour out more wine.

The Nouveaux is extremely easy to use, with simple up and down buttons to operate the cork screw. One of my favorite things was watching the cork be lifted from the bottle through the clear base. This is a must have item for your kitchen if you are a wine drinker. And one of my readers will be able to win one! Ozeri is giving one of the Electric Nouveaux Wine Bottle Opener to one of my readers!

  1. I have not but my daughter struggles sometimes to open one. My oldest daughter works at a restaurant and they have to open bottles all the time. This would be great!

  2. I have never used an electrci wine opener before. My fave manual one is the Screwpull. I actually found an original patent one a long time ago and it works perfectly, hasnt failed me, even though some very expensive other ones have… wouldlove to give an electrci one a try!

  3. Never used an electric bottle opener, but could sure use one. I hate opening wine bottles by hand but I never knew there was an alternative.

  4. I have never tried an electric wine bottle opener but I would love to since I seem to be cork poppingly challenged and have to have someone else do it for me 😛

  5. Hi Ladies,
I have never tried an electric bottle opener but would love to. Just want to say thanks for all you do! Renee

  6. I’ve never used an electric opener but it’d be awesome. I’m kind of a disaster with the regular old corkscrew…and I’ve even had to go after it with a screwdriver before (don’t ask).

  7. I have used an electric wine opener before. I have been wanting one for awhile but haven’t been able to convince my husband to stray away from a traditional one.

  8. Hi!
I have never used and electric bottle opener of any kind. This would be very useful at family get togethers and dinners.
Thanks for the chance to win!

  9. I have used one recently and loved it! Not that I drink a lot of wine 😉 but it would certainly help as hands get older and don’t work as well as they used to!
