As we get ready to host our friends and family this year, why make more of a mess than we need to? Instead of disposable tin pans, I’m preparing our meal with Fiesta Ware. Not only does it look amazing on the table, but it’s extremely versatile and can go from the oven to the table without any stop in between.
Homer Laughlin sent me a selection of their Fiesta Ware to use with my holiday meals and baking. Inside our package was a 9″ x 9″ Square Baker in Slate, 2 Dinner Plates in Scarlet, 2 Ramekins in Scarlet and 2 Ramekins in Slate. The possibilities with Fiesta Ware are endless since they’re oven safe up with plates up to 350 degrees and bakeware up to 500 degrees.
When sent bakeware, I normally default to sweets and desserts, but the reality is my Fiesta has become every day use products I use for dinner. So the bakeware and ramekins came in handy with making Cauliflower Au Gratin and Homemade Stuffing Pots. On a day to day basis the dishes, bakeware and ramekins are used for recipes, prep and more. They run from the counter to the oven, microwave and even the dishwasher. While they’re safe to put in the freezer, ours never make it there since they’re constantly in use.
To make your own quick stuffing pots follow this easy recipe below – no boxed mixes needed!
Ingredients:
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Ground Pepper
- 1 cup Chopped Onion
- 1 Cup Chopped Celery
- 2 Cups Chicken Broth
- 4 Cups Cubed Gluten Free Bread
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Sautee onions and celery in a medium sauce pan with butter, salt and pepper.
- Add in your chicken broth and cubed gluten free bread. Allow to sit for about 10 minutes until the bread has soaked up the majority of the broth.
- Separate into your Fiesta ramekins.
- Bake for 30 minutes until they just start to crisp on top.
