From Oven to Table – Fiesta Ware Giveaway!

Fiesta ware giveaway

As we get ready to host our friends and family this year, why make more of a mess than we need to? Instead of disposable tin pans, I’m preparing our meal with Fiesta Ware. Not only does it look amazing on the table, but it’s extremely versatile and can go from the oven to the table without any stop in between.

Fiesta ware giveawayHomer Laughlin sent me a selection of their Fiesta Ware to use with my holiday meals and baking. Inside our package was a  9″ x 9″ Square Baker in Slate, 2 Dinner Plates in Scarlet, 2 Ramekins in Scarlet and 2 Ramekins in Slate. The possibilities with Fiesta Ware are endless since they’re oven safe up with plates up to 350 degrees and bakeware up to 500 degrees.

When sent bakeware, I normally default to sweets and desserts, but the reality is my Fiesta has become every day use products I use for dinner. So the bakeware and ramekins came in handy with making Cauliflower Au Gratin and Homemade Stuffing Pots. On a day to day basis the dishes, bakeware and ramekins are used for recipes, prep and more. They run from the counter to the oven, microwave and even the dishwasher. While they’re safe to put in the freezer, ours never make it there since they’re constantly in use.

To make your own quick stuffing pots follow this easy recipe below – no boxed mixes needed!

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Pepper
  • 1 cup Chopped Onion
  • 1 Cup Chopped Celery
  • 2 Cups Chicken Broth
  • 4 Cups Cubed Gluten Free Bread

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Sautee onions and celery in a medium sauce pan with butter, salt and pepper.
  3. Add in your chicken broth and cubed gluten free bread. Allow to sit for about 10 minutes until the bread has soaked up the majority of the broth.

  1. I would bake a green bean casserole.
From their site, I’d love to own their large oval platter with the Christmas trio of trees design.

  2. Baking with Fiesta for the holidays is not a chore, it is a pleasure. I enjoy baking for the people in my life. Weather is baking a batch of delicious brownies in a square baker for my co workers or making my grandchildren individual treats in the ramekins. I love the way everything bakes evenly and has a beautiful golden brown color. Even the clean up is a breeze! Not to mention all of the compliments on the beautiful bakeware when you use Fiesta.

My dream piece of Fiesta would be Beverage Server. That would be great for the holidays!

  3. I have a square baker, I used it to make home made green bean casserole. I need another one for your home made stuffing recipe. I have been working on my collection since 1964. I could imagine my life without all these wonderful colors.
    Merry Christmas.

  4. Oh my goodness, what WOULDN’T you bake with Fiesta. I would have to go with enchiladas or brownies! My dream dishes would be any style baker or counter top accessory (canisters, s&p, cream & sugar) in juniper 🙂 beautiful color.

  5. I also like their covered casserole in the scarlet shade. That would be a pretty color to serve green bean casserole.

  6. I love the individual casseroles: it would be a great way to make little lasagna rolls for everyone (bonus that you could color-code them, white for the kid who eats vegetarian, etc).

  7. I would also like to own their utensil crock in cobalt blue. That would inspire me to bake some Christmas cookies with blue icing.

  8. I like the baking bowl set 5 piece . You can make the item in the bowl and bake clobblers it in them. All in one dish.
